Yep, may be the second time this year we have not made it.
Probably not going as far as the Algarve anyway.
Ferry back on 14th Nov from Dieppe probably need 5-6 days to get back.

While the weather's good Northern Spain is a good place to be.

I wish we hadn't scurried back after looking at the forecast, although I couldn't do any more walking for a while.

Now at the Camper Stop by the municipal hall in Lugo, flipping hairy tuning into the road at the juncton, r/h turn double backing on yourself, if there is a car at the junction no chance we had to go all round the town for a second attempt.
It's mixed parking with about 15 large Motorhome spaces, when we arrived there were cars in ½ doz spaces, there was a basket ball match in the hall. Carpark was rammed crept very carefully round and parked precariously between cars and sat there for two hours waiting for cars to move.
After we got a space a Spanish motorhomer came in and he was doing his nut about it.

You're brave driving into Lugo. Good job you didn't try a week ago!

We were holding our breath in even on the bus!!!

Came in from the A6 hardly any traffic until just before the camper stop.
If you think that's brave wait until I put a video up of the road to Soto de Sajambre, not to be tackled without brown trousers.:)

As I've said on other threads for some strange reason since having the door hinges replaced it's working like an oven.:)

It's sad, Lugo has amazing walls, from memory it's the biggest walled city in Europe (might be wrong :)) but they have built right up to them both from the inside and outside.

Edit: Just checked, they aren't the biggest but it is considered one of the best examples of late Roman fortification in Europe. If you can see them.

Only town in Europe where the Roman walls are complete I believe and the best preserved, shame about the rest of the town.

Noticed your review in CC about the Camper Stop, what made you nervous about leaving your van there, we thought it was fine.

I think we were newbies then. We've been to Italy since. :)
