Oy, wash your mouth out. That's the good stuff €1.60 Lt the cheap stuff is only € 0.79 Lt
Either is far better than the stuff @Just smiffy will ply you with.:ROFLMAO:
I won't forget that wine of his in a hurry.
Best chilled then chucked, I ain’t worked all my life to drink red wine vinegar. Horses for courses though and I am training to be a wine snob.

Bet its ok on chips though,,BUSBY:D:D

Sorry Lennie had a few beers saw the word newbie, red mist etc! I’m allergic to it. I am new to motorhoming but wifie and I have clocked up 12k miles in 15 months and I am learning lots from this thread thank you. Keep posting

It’s all fun on here.....:D lots of banter....(y)

Nice runner beans all the way from Morocco.
As Judith says heathen.:)
That’s my sort of grub, did you use the Dom Simon and is that Basmati I see on the side?

A few pics of the 20 km walk we did today. The highlight of the walk was a couple of Red squirels bounding along the path and passing inches from us.

Interesting bridge, note the cable across the centre for hooking your safety wire on, assume it has been built for the climbers. I put my foot on the first plank, it were very wobbly.

Love it.

20 km (no hard surfaces by the looks of the terrain!).

The "bridge" looks like one found on a via ferrata. Was it?

Brilliant photgraphs Lenny and hope you enjoyed your walk. Might be a bit stiff in the morning though:D(y) Really enjoying your thread it is the sort of touring we enjoy.

Unfortunately about a third on hard tracks and a bit of road.

No, that one was a few km north of Cordinanes De Velderon across the Rio Cares.

Lenny's Heading for Portugal - Maybe

Have you actually got there yet?

:p

Moved a few km across the Pico's to Soto de Sajambre. Interesting drive upto the village I will post video of it when I get a decent WiFi connection don't want to waste data.

MiFi with the external aerial came into its own again tonight. No phone or data signal at all on our phones. A scan of networks on the Mifi and found a 3G signal.

All on our own up here in the mountains another nice carpark.:)

Seems like a new line. I bought Martin some Golden Hen and Speckled Hen last week. Not seen them before, hope they keep having them.
In the specials section so you had better stock up.

Is it me or have food prices shot up in Spain in the last 6 months or is it more expensive in the north?
€60 euro spent in Lidl (without alcohol) looks like what I would get for £40 - £45 in the UK.

Not been back in Spain (and doing a big shop) for long. Will be interesting to see If our normal shopping prices have increased.

This is my cheap glug of choice from Mercadona, although it has gone up 39% since last year. Best served chilled. View attachment 261931
If it was the wine mentioned earlier that 5 litre bottle would be worth about £4,000! :)

But I agree about chilling the cheap reds. Most folk can't tell a white from a red by taste if they are chilled so I just tell myself it is a dark white. :)

This is a favourite of mine a nice
