Lenny's Heading for Germany

What kind of wine is that you've got in your trolley?I cant quite see the label Is it very nice?or just drinkable? Is the carton 3 litres ?How much and where did you buy it? I've a very nice friend bringing me some wine back but they don't drink red.

We're at Grand Fort Phillippe tonight. Might be a good idea to follow Lenny HB for any running repairs we need😎
Not entirely joking. I still haven't fixed the extractor fan in my toilet😁

3 Lt don't be silly it's 5 Lt. 70% of the bottles are the same one, it is a very smooth red. Only a cheap but very nice both daughters requested it for their weddings and we had guests taking photos of the bottles as they were so impressed I even got Just smiffy hooked on it but anything would taste better than the weed killer he gave me.
5 Lt box €15.40, bottle €2.82.

Had a walk this morning previously when I've been here I thought the WW2 gun emplacements that have been turned into hides were for twitchters, how wrong they where for hunters. Found out when guns started going off all around us.

Complete with a Springer gun dog.

We were going up to our dealer this afternoon but had a change of plan and went to Memorial Museum Passchendaela 1917 as we like it here and only 30km from dealer.
Dissapointed the Boulanger in the village was closed on Monday they do some scrummy pastries and cakes.

Not if we come straight back from Germany, that's why I've got to freeze my balls off she won't let me go to Spain.

Were hoping to do similar. From Germany to Ferry in Dunkerque in total isolation, then in premium lounge for crossing. When we cam over using premium lounge there was only 5 other people in it. Went down to restaurant to use free food vouchers as a result of 15 minute delay to see every man and dog had been given same vouchers and young French men openly ignoring ferry staff about social distancing and using face masks even when customers complained. Very little they could do when faced with open defiance. So, wont be leaving Premium lounge when we return and with 6.p.m. crossing, hopefully not too many Tossers on board. Pity they can n ot behave like the Germans. I must admit both Mena and I are impressed with the Germans, they obey the rules, have been warm and friendly towards us and are quick to strike up a conversation, especially other M'homers. Many have heard about the Funster FLT club and one or two asked about membership. I refereed the lot of them to you mate. Enjoy your trip, for us its been another good un ! Well apart from the cost of a beer ! On average its getting on for €5.0 for a half litre. Thank god for Aldi and our megga fridge which is rammed with............yup, your right mate. I didn't know you had balls ! That is a surprise.

I thought the UK Government had ruled that ferry pasengers have to quarantine because they have mixed with others after passing UK immigration controls in French ports. This does not apply to those travelling via the tunnel.

It may have changed or I may be wrong.

I think you are right , unless there is no mixing !

After the drama of Campirama we are now at Temse.
Still a bit gloomy today we did have a bit of sunshine and it's been a lot warmer today 19°.

A nice Aire but very expensive for an FLT, could have had the choice of a couple free ones nearby but this one had servicing.

How much you may well ask.

Go East young man. 23° and clear blue skies here today near Leipzig. It's lovely

Down side of today was having to have tooth out in Germany. I feel a lot better --- or I will when I get over paying out 121€ for it. :Eeek: :Eeek: :Eeek:

Doesn't matter what you do as soon as you exit the vehicle on the ferry you are classed as having 'mixed' therefore quarantine required.
