That’s such a lovely idea. I found a crochet poppy on a campsite and thought what a great idea it was.

I’m tempted but of course I shall finish all the other wipes with all that yarn I’ve put away carefully - I think I can hear you chuckle from here.
Finished this to give as a gift, but it turned out to be a bit of a neck warmer rather than a shawlette type thing. I didn’t do enough rows between the fancy work. It’s pretty though

Also my daughter sent me these. - look like fun I think the under-the-door bit should be something a little sturdier than wool though . Have any of you done one?

Well done, I’m not convinced that I’ll ever reach your standards. I’m enjoying making Worry Worms, Pocket Hugs and Book marks and a couple of the worms have been posted on FB.

You will. Once you have the basics, it’s just a case of believing in yourself. I put off mosaic crochet for so long, thinking that I would never be able to do it. Once I tried it, I realised how easy it was. Great teachers for this are madebyanita and Rosina crochets. They have videos on YouTube and are well worth a look

By the way, you have done so well in such a short time

I took a break from making crochet flower scarves and knitted Buzz a jumper for the cold nights when we are away in the van. The wool cost me 50p from a charity shop

Lovely jumper but I don't think Buzz is impressed.

I finished a sweater yesterday morning after prevaricating for months, decided that I didn’t like it so unravelled it last night

I have taken to doing seams with a crochet hook and chain stitch so it’s easier to undo
