Learn to crochet?

I just listed some of my spare sewing thread on ebay ........ it's free listing so I'll see if there are any takers.

I also have quite a few bobbins which don't fit my machine so will list those as well.

In days / weeks to come my jewellery making stuff will be listed along with scrap bags of fabric for patchwork.

It's quite cathartic sorting out what I will never use again and getting rid of it.

Can you give a link Helen?

I hope the links work :) I have a lot more to get rid of as I have said.

If you want more than one pack let me know, I have loads of threads :)

Pictures of my Happy Room - from bare painted walls, piles of IKEA boxes and one wall filled with storage units and desk / table - and then with just a fraction of the stuff I have accumulated over the years!

And the room now known as "The Tango Room" - aka our guest room. The bed linen is white as is the blind which tones down the orange - the room faces due south so it will fade over time. It's a lot better than the deep purple my daughter had painted it!

I’ve got craft room envy now mine won’t be ready until we get Max’s garage/workshop up as we are then going to covert our existing garage into a craft room and office.

Hello everyone. You've seen pictures of my craft room but as it's really only a store room I am slowly taking over the room we had made from the double garage. It's multi-purpose : utility room for washing m/c, dishwasher, water softener and deep freeze : office with four filing cabinets, vintage kitchen cupboards (such good quality we couldn't throw them away. My heavy Passap knitting machine is in there plus a marble table, six dining chairs and two reclining chairs. What would an estate agent make of it? They'd be appalled  We call it the Den.

Anyway today I am setting it up to sandwich together the quilt I'm making for James (grandson). I'm only doing stitch-in-the-ditch for that one. I'm hoping to be more ambitious with George's quilt and do some fancy stuff.

@Offagain You'll be pleased to hear my octopus are now swimming to preemies. I'm averaging six a month and moving on to jellyfish which I hope will also pass.

It's worth waiting for :)

I'm shocked at the amount of stuff I had stashed away and am having to be ruthless about what I am putting in the compost heap (cotton fabric and cardboard), what is going on ebay, what will go to charity shops and what will be thrown out.

The Happy Room will also double as my office and writing room plus of necessary we can put a z-bed in for extra guests.

That is what we are doing with our garage Pam ....utility room ,office and craft room but we can’t start till Max’s garage/workshop is up which will be in the next few weeks then his classic Sierra XR 4x4i can be relocated to its new home round in his new garage .

Not crochet related but crafty. I have around 900gms of leather off cuts. Predominantly shades of brown (including a couple of suede) one black and a tiny piece of red. 50p for scale. Free to a good home. Just ‘conversation’ me if you would can use them and I will post them to you.

I must show you my mother’s day present from my wonderful son, @AdamH.

He commissioned a friend to make this beautiful yarn bowl for me.

It stops the ball of wool rolling all over the place :)

In a press release today, the National Institute Of Public Health has announced the discovery of a potentially dangerous substance found in CROCHET craft supplies. This substance has been linked with the following symptoms in humans:
