@Hils and Glenns has PM'ed me to say that she will be collecting the goodies on behalf of the nutters, oops sorry spelling mistake, I mean knitters.
It was a bit last minute grabbing what we found to hand on the way out the door, but Yvette will have a proper look through when we get back and she is pretty sure there will be some more wool to be had.
A big thanks for your efforts ladies. (y)

Hi @Chrysalis Alice is happy to have items and bring to mo's she is at Peterborough x

9 poppies made tonight whilst trying to watch the dvd with my headphones on to drown out the noise of the thunder and rain. Just managed to take Buzz for a quick walk without getting drowned.

There are some spectacular lakes on the campsite now!

I'be been busy sewing these cushions to get them posted to the USA for my aunt's 80th birthday present. I had great fun choosing the fabric with Helen @Puddleduck last weekend. They are now on their way so I can get going with some poppies. I've done 10 so far & am hoping to get some more done when we are on our way to Peterborough for the day (only if Dave drives of course! )

Thank you . They were time consuming & a bit fiddly, but I really enjoyed making them.

And I will confirm they look even better in real life than in the photos.

We are going to recheck the measurements for the netting and get that ordered this week :)

I think i will be sewing poppies onto camouflage netting for quite some time but I don't care, I am just so grateful to EVERYONE who has or will contribute.

One of my neighbours (93) has asked if i can show him how to make fabric poppies as he would like to help :) i am going to put a kit together for him.

I’m still knitting them....albeit slowly.

I have tried and tried and failed at crochet. I must be getting old, I have to take my glasses off to see the needle and put them back on to watch the YouTube tutorial. I then miss the stitch on the video, have to start all over again and then need a large G&T to recover!

I’ll stick to knitting :D2
