Found just one small ball of red today and a large white at a little Chinese bazaar in Moraira so I can do some more poppies

One question - should the white poppies have black centers? Thanks

99p each looked good in the shop
when I got home it's not as red as the other wool I'd used for the poppies so I may not use it

I put a black centre in mine not sure if it's right Ven I've only done 1 so far so I'll wait with you for someone to confirm xxx

I must admit myself he doesn’t seem so red now but I hope it’s okay.

I am sure that any shade of red will be fine - some of the reds in our display are almost fluorescent and really 'pop' adding a vibrancy.

My reds are different and even a few pink ones (practice ones before I got red wool).

I don't think we'll all have the same shades of red anyway.

All shades of colours are fine I have left a message for the people donating the camouflage netting to ask them when I can get my fingers on it

3 hours done on the quilt today - about 20 hours of quilting left to do and then I will have the binding to attach. I also got some poppies done and will try to get more done watching tv later.

I was just about to message you Joy @movan !! Your lovely squishy parcel arrived about an hour ago. I was quilting with radio on and machine going full belt so didn't know until a few minutes ago.

Thank you so much, they are wonderful. I haven't counted though!!!!

@Ambilkate in sheer desperation I just had to pay full price for 2 more balls of red wool. I was a bit uncertain as I thought it orange but it is called Poppy Red... so it must be ok.
