leaky loo, found out the cause ?

ok, i can get 4 showers out of my tank, so probably every 4th day I will book into a site, to do grey waste and cassette, I thought, but as a newbie at this, I am wondering, if this is ok or not? I cant function without a shower each morning, so that is not compromisable sadly hahah
I shower every day but not like I do at home.
Wet, lather, rinse in van , can be 40 minutes+ at home

It's like asking how long to fill your toilet cassette, it's a piece of string question .

Some never use the onboard facilities others never use campsite facilities.

It depends on the individual and how you use your van. Search for sites shows serving points

You don't have to book into a site CCC go into Reception ask about Dumping the Tank Fresh Refill Fresh Water and Shower Its a Small Charge 👍

That is so kind of you to let me know, I suspect you guy are on a site, to run an air fryer, as I have been told my 1000 invertor would frazzle my wiring, if I try it on wild camping haha.
worth )Enjoy the rest of your trip, and like you kindly informed me, I most definitely will come back to this wonderful site to help me out. Renee is all packed up now tonight, deisal (ouch 120 £ worth,, and the LPG all of 10£ ), is now firmly in my van, I set off at 4am in the morning, to try and out bid those vans going to SALES mmmm.

Firsst wild spot, HARRAGATE, on Park4nite ! Scary haahhah
On a site yes but not plugged in to electric.
4 nights running off battery (230AH LifePo4), 2000 watt pure sign wave inverter and gas in what the site calls the wild camping field, no electric but there is water.
The showers etc are 4 fields away.
We are moving into another field on the same site today that has electric so we can plug in to recharge.
If the weather was better we would have 2 nights plugged in to electric then move back to the wild field for 4 nights as we like the view but it's been so misty you can't see anything so we will probably stay on electric for the remaining 6 nights.
Extra £5 per night for electric and the showers/toilets are in the field we're moving to.
There are only 4 vans and 2 tuggers here at the moment but there are 25 vans booked in for over New Year.

Love as you say 'what the site says is wild camping field'

Does that mean they don't cut the grass and you can park anywhere?

Seen an add recently for natural camping , basically a farmers field. But it would depend on how many people they let in

You can park anywhere within reason but they do cut the grass.
The "wild" field is out on a headland with stunning sea views and wildlife, rabbits, hares, red kites, bats etc.
It's a big site with 5 fields.

Sounds lovely. I was in a farmers field a few weeks ago he only cut the grass where her wanted you to park , the rest was meadow no sea view. They are the places I like if not at a rallie or meeting friends .

it's definitely something out of the ordinary. What about access to water and electricity? Or is this a place for a real wild holiday?

The 1st 4 fields have electric and water, the 5th field water only.
Fields 2 and 3 have excellent showers/toilets, elsan point, dish washing etc.
However only the block in field 2 is open in winter.
There is also a small shop on the site that stocks the basics.
It's not "wild" camping as such, just no electric but the views and wildlife are stunning.
If you're lucky you can see Dolphins and the bay has a seal or 2.
