Hi Bill,
Is there a list somewhere of items that people need fixing. We are hoping to mainly observe and learn, although my husband has found a dangly bit up front and he doesn't know what to do with it or how it got there so perhaps someone could advise him :). He is also quite a computer nerd so would be happy to help anyone with computer problems. See you Friday.

Only just seen that tonight is American table (did I miss a previous post?) - I've nothing made and we're leaving in a couple of hours - hubby has suggested a tin of spam - he's full of bright ideas! Tesco here I come.

Hi Happybrewer,
Unfortunately, I have gone down with a chest infection, just got back from the Doc and am on antibiotics. This means apart from feeling like death warmed up, I can't drink any beer. So we will not be able to make the meet this weekend. Sorry for the short notice, I hope you pick this up quick and be able to give our place to someone else.

Yep ... I believe the heat is rising by the minute over the camping field and birds are singing ... :)

AND NOOOOOOOO I AM NOT EXPLAINING THIS POST. :)

Thanks to everyone for a great meet especially John (Don Quiote) for all the help and advice with the batteries and the satellite dish problems and Martin for the loan of the ladders and the assistance with fitting the awning rail. You are both "stars" and we are very grateful.

It was wonderful to spend the weekend with good friends and the opportunity to meet new funsters.

Ginny and Mike

Thank you Bill we had a lovely time. It was great meeting some new funsters. We can't wait for our next meet at Misterton and seeing some of you again.

I would like to thank Bill, and his boss, for even getting the sun to put in an appearance, I had a great time at the meet just chilling out and it was a pleasure to meet other names from the site and to be able to put faces to them.

Happy vanning out there, take care all.

Norman.

Thanks for a good fun meet. Nice to meet up with new and old friends. Makes it all the better when I can now put faces to some more names....Only trouble is trying to remember the names.
Photos are in my album.

How does the donation thing work? Does it go through Jim or do you just send a cheque then publish the thankyou for donating X amount letter that you receive back? I need to know for Falkirk..

Some of us still here, lovely evening sat on the hill with a drink till about 10pm and now at 08:45am the solar panels are making over 8 amps and the wind is no more. Not sure we want to go home yet.

Great weekend guys.

Forgot to ask you yeaterday bill...how much do you reckon we raised for the samaritans... A really worthwhile cause and I'm sure you said that's who we would support...
Ta Andy.
