It's autumn in Spain, we're on the road again

Has anyone had the below...ive checked all the cables, all seem.fine. rebooted a few times amd connection seems to drop out after a few minutes.
I clicked the cable error message and was taken to a "how to page" then a page that said a new cable has been ordered and is on its way.
I'm not sure it even is the cable.

Not entirely sure you meant to post it on the Jumar's thread Tombola?

A great ride... I've had a YT Decoy up to a year ago before selling it on. The EP801 is a very much improved motor and with the bigger capacity battery, the range is going to be nearer 200km in Eco mode.. although I tweaked the settings, a little less is expected...so 3 decent rides between charging is quite realistic I think.
Comfort is excellent the shoxs perform well, a few minor adjustments before tomorrow's ride, mainly repositioning of controls...the dropper lever is a nuisance with little room to adjust...Thanks for asking...fancy buying the same?
Glad you’re pleased with it. No change for me on the bike front, I am so happy with mine even though it’s coming up to five years old it’s just part of me if that makes sense. My sort of riding is a little different to yours also. I love your sort of riding being off the roads but where you stop and walk down a slope or rocky bit I would ride down it. 😂👍 My switch in my brain that says get off and walk your not as young as you were is faulty. 😂

Martin gets off and walks more than he needs to but that's to make sure I do also. Since my three accidents he's been more worried than me about me falling off again. We don't, intentionally, ride anything that's difficult any more, but sometimes we get caught out.

What's all this then? Minus 3°c...I came to Spain For Sun, Sea and Sangria.....well actually that's not correct....but winter sun to enjoy sport...so it's another 4 layer ride today for sure...
Ample solar yesterday recharged our bikes and the curry Judith mentioned recharged us too.
Just 40km today on a route we had previously ridden...then a typical Sunday lunch of Lasagna...how very Spanish is that..
The sun is about to strike the van which means heating off and let those solar rays warm the surroundings...Happy Sunday folks.

Today's ride didn't offer many photos of interest. It was a ride of roads and tracks through a lot of forests. A couple of spots were damaged by flooding but, apart from that it was pleasant.

We're staying here tonight and then shopping at Caravaca de la Cruz, before checking out whether the motorhome parking looks quiet enough for us to stay. We'll use the service point anyway and, if no-ones hogging the bike charging points for their motorhome use, (yes that's already happened 🤬) we'll make sure the bikes are fully charged for our next ride.

I shopped in Mercadona this morning. Christmas shopping is a doddle the jumar way 🤣 We arrived at Caravaca's motorhome area and got the best parking spot on there. It's shaped like a dairylea cheese portion, so it gives us lots of space on both sides to get the bikes out tomorrow.

We had a quick lunch and then went to Fuente del Marques. It's a small deciduous woodland/wetland, something that's not common in Murcia. We had a bit of a problem getting there on our chosen route, a tanker was spraying the gravel walkway and a roller was following on behind. We had to find a detour.

From there we walked into Caravaca to go to see the Belén and the lights. Once there we found that something was due to happen in the evening so we hung about to wait to see.

And we eventually found out that it was a kids event. It was lovely to watch.

No sweets were thrown. The kids will have to wait for the three magic Kings.

We had an easy day today. We rode a route we'd done before, but we changed the beginning to make it easier because last time there was a very steep descent down a rough track with loose stones. After seeing the newly surfaced roads around here we realised that there had been quite bad flood damage, and we saw the evidence for ourselves on our return section. Lots of thick dried mud in fields and deep gullies on our track. So the earlier section was best avoided. It also missed out a ford crossing as well which could have been difficult.

This doesn't show the damage but there were lots of fallen trees off picture to the left.

There's only a track access to these buildings. I wonder if they were stuck in/out?

We had a tapas lunch today and tomorrow we're having sprouts. No turkey for us, we're having some rosemary marinated pork with roast potatoes and sprouts, peas and sweetcorn.

And ... we had a bottle of 5.5% sparkling white wine.

And ... we had a truffle chocolate each with coffee.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Lovely. We have arrived en Espana. We're copying the Spanish and having our Christmas meal tonight then going out for a long walk and food out tomorrow in Valencia. Think it's about a 5 mile walk into the city.

We've had another perfect day for riding. We rode a short section of the via verde and then exited to climb up to a viewpoint over the town of Cehegin (pronounced th (as in thespian) ay een, or near enough). The track to the very highest point was getting more and more difficult to ride so we aborted at the first viewpoint.

The return was easy, but again not as easy as normal due to deep channels and more loose rocks. One part was completely washed away, down to the bedrock, and deposited in the field downhill. We had to push the bikes around the damage.

We've had our lunch and recharged the bikes at the charging point. We're all set for our last ride of the trip, tomorrow.

The normally dry rambla still has some water from October.

Change of plans. We're home. Martin's leg was hurting during the night so this morning we left Caravaca and called into a small village for Martin to go to the health centre there. Much shorter waiting time in a small place 👍. His leg isn't infected, so all's good.

So tomorrow the van will be emptied of anything we may need over the next week or so and on Saturday we're taking it to the guy who's doing the paintwork. The next trip will be in our revamped van, although we'll not notice a difference on the inside.

New Year and Three Kings will be here again this year, not that it makes any difference to how we celebrate 🤣🤣

I'll be planning a trip whilst we're static, watch for a thread 🙂
