Well I got the brake pads fitted and the new pipes on but no further.
I have not been well today should never have started today but got a bit done
I ordered some Covid tests yes I have tested positive.
Feeling like crap hurting all over nose blocked chest full
And coughing constantly sweating profusely
And it’s very hot today.
There’s a rather nasty variant going around apparently.
If I am no better in the morning I have to check in with the doctor in the morning if I make it that far

Not had much energy to work on the old girl today.
Covid and blood glucose levels have left me drained today.
But starting to get glucose levels to a respectable level.
It’s been a miserable few days but after a shower and a shave.
It’s made me feel a bit better hopefully will feel a bit better tomorrow.

Get well soonest Bill and keep up the hard work on the jollybus.

Sorry to hear you’re still ill (wimp) and hope it shifts asap.

Don’t forget to do that track rod end nut up either matey, now you’re getting old and forgetful and all that.

More man hugs coming your way 🤗

Left hand side the disks will clean up with a wire brush wheel on my grinder.
Set it in gear and start wheel turning while vans Choked up but the last thing I will do as they will just rust up again
And I have to bleed the brakes but still have the back hubs to Chang out slave cylinders and shoes and baring to service
There’s one brake brake pipe a bit rusted so will Chang them good for years then.
Still testing positive for Covid but feeling a lot better

This van would be scrap if it was anyone else beyond economical prepare

There’s still sand and dust from our Spain trip three years ago in the engine bay
Just tinkering with the idea to just take gear box out and leave engine in place
Wildbill
No brainer to take the whole lot out and split it on the floor. If you had a ramp and full access to the underside then doing the box only is often quicker which is why the garages often do it this way but having the whole thing out gives you great access and an opportunity to do all those other jobs.

Getting the engine out with the gearbox, its a crane job. On ramps with a jack, dropping the gearbox down is much easier anyways. Unless you need to work on the engine, I don't see why its got to come out.

I do have an engine crane but it’s at the back of our storage container
That’s a days job getting to it
But looking like I am going to have to dig it out :Eeek:
