Is this as good as it seems? EU roaming included.

Just checked with RWG about 5g and speed restriction…this was their reply…

“Our data only SIMs are currently LTE/4G only. We don't have limits on the network so the coverage and speeds you get from Vodafone/EE are the ones you experience.”

They seems to be quick on replying to questions which is a good thing.
If they are still doing 200gb for £20 when I got to eu I will try them, unless Lenny HB has a bad experience with them.

Change of plans, so can’t wait for Lenny HB to test it 😊, so I’ve ordered a 200gb sim.
Should be here before we cross to eu on 2nd April

Put the RWG SIM into phone, recognised as EE, did not require any setup or email just seemed to be activated straightaway. Put into Netgear MIFI and all working well, couple of devices connected.

Heading over to Germany in 2 weeks for a short trip, so we shall see 🤞

We got IDMobile sims, 150gb for £6 but having sold my van and not seeing anything else I fancy I won’t be trying it abroad. Apparently you can use your whole allowance while abroad.

According to their fair use policy on a £6 plan you can only use 4.63GB when roaming.

It’s a cash back deal, so paying £12 and claim back half. It was a deal from Mobiles.co.uk. Other users have said they have used their whole allowance while in Spain.

My RWG sim just came through the letterbox.
Hopefully you can give a review of how it sets up and if it works well.
Will be putting it in a mifi after setup

May have got lucky, we had a French Reglo sim on our last trip it said 5GB roaming I used over 10 outside of France.
On a £12 deal the official limit is 9.26GB.

Has anyone used this?

Cheaper than Lebara and you get the full 200GB abroad?

Can I put it in my unlocked MiFi and crack on?

Mine arrived today. Chucked it in the MiFi and emailed them to activate.

They replied in about 2 minutes and it’s working.

I have emailed them back with a billing query as they said it renews on the 1st each month and I ordered it on the 19th?

So far so good.

Those going abroad before me like Lenny HB and Neilfg, let us know if it works once you get across. :-)

Thanks for the heads up, looks good, we're away for a month in May followed by 2 months in September, can you postpone the payments in between trips as I've already got a sim deal for UK?

Pete

Don’t think so. My plan was to cancel as we aren’t going again till next year after Easter. I might keep it though if the speeds are decent as it’s cheaper than my Lebara SIM.

OK thanks, would be tempted but the EE signal around here is pants.

I hadn’t tried EE before in my house, but the signal for Three and Vodafone is awful.

Can confirm, EE is also awful. 😂

Very confused ….surely if you are only after 10 or so GB over a month or two your existing UK Sim provider will provide that…. Why do you need a new Sim ? Or just use your Reglo…you can shut down your Reglo to €1 a month if you return to the UK.

So you got a £12 Reglo and a £6 RWG or are you just getting the cheapest plans to test them out ?

Reglo one I only used last year in France is impossible to do anything on their website but that is French and probably won't be in France.
I think you are getting confused with my replies to another member about idmobile.
Like others on here I have now bought a £20/month 200GB RWG sim for my mifi.
