Pretty hacked off with RWG now. I’m in France eating through my meagre roaming allowance with Three while this mob have had my £28 and won’t even answer emails since yesterday afternoon. The MiFi unit is fine - it works with my phone sim.

Have you left it on and waited an hour? Mine took a while to connect every time.

Paul & Yvette, would you please describe the global Sim they sent you? Does it come with a mobile number? The reason I ask is that I applied for a £28 month Global SIM card and one of their free cards , which arrived this morning and they are identical and I haven't a clue which I should be using. Of course I have emailed RWG support and have not had a reply yet.

Here's my global sim that arrived, match yours to this unless both of yours are identical to each other.

This is the Global data only SIM I received from RWG after cancelling the Vodafone one. No mobile number requested for obvious reasons.
Worked from day one without any activation request - after I changed the APN from automatic to the ion one.

Has anyone got the RWG 200GB Global data sim working in a 5G Compact PRO MotorhomeWiFi?
Ive changed the APN settings (Profile: Global & APN: Everywhere) but can’t get it to work I can’t seem to enable the ‘mobile data’ and MotorhomeWiFi Support is painfully slow via email and not very helpful.

Paul & Yvette, Both the sims I received are the same as yours, only the last 3 digits on the bar code are different, what I find strange is that the sim sent to Orion is entirely different!

I don't know the in's and out's of sim cards, but I would think that RWG are buying blank unprogrammed sim cards and then programming them to use their usage.
Maybe as everybody appears to be buying from RWG at present, they are just having to buy in unprogrammed sim cards from wherever supplier they can get them from hence the stick-on label.

Possible I suppose, try using it in your phone to make a call or email them and ask for a check on allowance on your phone number, yours should only come back with data, mine came back with calls , text and data balance.

A little concerned now as I have put my RWG global data only sim in my phone and I can ring out and hold a conversation as I have been doing with Nick (Manic).
Should you be able to do this on a data only sim?
Just checked and I can also dial into the data only sim and receive calls on it.

Have not got a clue, can you do that with text messages as well? but even so is a data only sim not data only then?
I was not expecting to see it registered on the EE network.

So will turning WiFi off and trying again prove the point?

I’ve just noticed the phone number starts with same number as my RWG mobile sim

It’s been on all day. Connects to the network no problem, just no data.

Likewise with mine, I can send a TXT using a phone but no internet,I’m pretty certain it’s a faulty SIM
and have already asked for a replacement or refund, but no reply yet, they could do with Camino at Tiekom their customer services was excellent,
I tried in three different MiFi’s and two phones with no joy, Put a Lebara data SIM in my main MiFi and it worked no problem,
could well be a faulty batch of SIMs they have? I did ask for my replacement SIM to be tested first before delivery,
just for clarity I have a 200gb Global data SIM in an HUAWEI E5785,

The sim I received from RWG is a Now PAYG sim, so the APN of ion.otm is presumably not going to connect.

Did you use their contact page on websites, that’s how I contacted them about balance and got an answer on a Sunday, I must be lucky.

I have exchanged several emails with them and have received timely replies so far.
As it's a bank holiday weekend I'm expecting I may not get a reply until Tuesday. They have a phone number for contact, so I'll go that route if needed.
