Does anyone have any info to enable a Telco smart sat skew to point to Telstar 12 ?

Depends where you are trying to receive it...Any updates on this anybody receiving the channels on Telstar 12 ?
Do you have an idea as to why Icecrypt receivers dont work even thought Telstar is locked on from the UK?Depends where you are trying to receive it...
Should be fine to receive in the Uk.
But harder the further south in Europe you go.
Icecrypt are no longer in business AFAIK. So maybe any transponder updates haven't been applied. Or something...Do you have an idea as to why Icecrypt receivers dont work even thought Telstar is locked on from the UK?
WiFi is very hit and miss. Many sites only have coverage in limited areas (e.g. near reception) and speed is often not good enough for streaming especially at peak times.Late to the party but is WiFi now at a point that a satellite dish is obsolete - or is there a rational for both roof mounted WiFi unit as well as a satellite dish. Outside of ongoing cost initial installation costs etc.
pandas is talking about data not wifi, a lot of people get confused and refer to data as wifi.WiFi is very hit and miss. Many sites only have coverage in limited areas (e.g. near reception) and speed is often not good enough for streaming especially at peak times.
As Lenny pointed out there is a difference between WiFi and data, I am not thinking about logging into a campsites/ public WiFi unit, as you pointed out it is hit and miss. My objective would be to connect to a mast somewhere to feed data direct. We currently use a mifi unit which works sort of okay for streaming say Netflix but thought a roof mounted unit might be a better option than our satellite dish. My question is do I keep both. Thank you Lenny for clarifying the point.WiFi is very hit and miss.
