As the title says really although it is more likely the other way round but thought it better I used it as the example
I have looked on the internet and only found what if you don’t report a death within 5days
Of course there could be many sinario s that would change the answer but simply if a person died naturally in the motor home in France and driven to the uk and then reported saving a lot of hassle have you broken the law

Good point Jonny, no-body can travel in rear of a moving vehicle not in a dedicated seat with factory seat belts !
At least if they had an accident thed have a excuse fore a body in the back. Wonder would the insurance company check foe time of death 🤔

I'm intrigued to know how you get past the ferry check-in and passport controls without raising some suspicion.

A friend who worked as cabin crew for a well-known airline said that if there was a problem, for example, with the landing gear they would fly the plane back to uk as if it crash landed abroad the hassle of bringing 100 body bags bags back with each one having to be opened and inspected would be a hideous problem for everyone.

I think it depends how long you’ve been dead for, if you’ve just died and still warm your wife may get away with it.

Driving home we passed the crematorium in Javea.

My wife said, if I died here , could you just drive back to the UK with me on the bed.

I said ya daft cow, you would stink by the time we got back.

We laugh about it every time we pass. Which was three times this week .

Probably on a Saga cruise, we tried one this year, called , Venice and Adriatic, I called it Venice and Geriatric,
Friend work for saga gave it up quiet quickly due to the high volume of deaths she had to deal with .

On holiday in the Caribbean and got chatting to some Americans at breakfast in the hotel. Asked them how long they had been here/staying and they said - just arrived yesterday to help Dad sort out Step mum who had died on a cruise ship. Apparently it's quite a common thing to happen on cruises! They have a morgue.

Also, it was the 2nd wife that her Dad had 'lost'.
Our neighbour died on a cruise going through the Suez canal. His poor wife had to deal with three different country's paperwork, including a post mortem somewhere along the way. It was weeks before his body returned to the UK.
