Good evening,, been sleeping most of the day and I’ve just had a hot bath, feel a bit better! Not Eaton though, not at all hungry!!

well 11am tomorrow morning is the time I know if I’ve been successful in getting the flat! God only knows what I would do if it doesn’t happen? Lolol.

still,, that’s about it really, for today,,uneventful and boring,, tomorrow might be different! We shall see!

I will let you know what’s going on when I have finished the appointment! Wish me luck! Xxxxx.
 
I thought the flat was all done and dusted Ian, is it not definite?

It surely doesn't depend on an interview tomorrow does it?

well I’m assuming it does,, you’d think they would want to meet me before anything happens! They’ve asked for two forms of ID, and a couple of bank statements! We shall see Paul! Or caz! Lol. Xx
 
Ian if all goes wrong you could go out in the street selling big issue with one of Jim’s mags tucked inside ::bigsmile: .......or the way your feeling with the flu it would be big tissue.::bigsmile: Hope all goes well today for you mate.(y)
 
I thought it was a certainty that you get the flat today? I certainly hope so after all you've been through! Good luck for today in any case. I'm following your progress with interest

Why on Earth not...? You have to show you can afford it.... I should think they would like someone with a bit of money in the bank knowing that they’ll get there rent...

‘there not going to give you a flat because you have 10k in the bank...?

Good morning,,,

well I’ve just had my official interview,, at the flat!!

ive been told by the young lady I have it, unofficially,, but she has to go back to the office and make it official from there! Wich she can’t do till Monday, because she’s showing lots of people lots of properties today! But the flat is mine!!

the first year is a years tenancy agreement,and during that time, they visit four times in the first year, to make sure your managing and looking after the property, if all is good then they give me the permanent tenancy! Bonus! AND GUESS WHAT!!!!

Ive got a garden,,, each flat has a garden, mine is right outside my bedroom window, approx 18 ft by 10,, part slabbed,, all fenced in, lockable gate, lovely! I didn’t know I had one till today!

so I’m hoping from Monday/Tuesday I will be a fully fledged member of society,, with direct debits, bills, and a bath!! Lol

there is parking for one car, but not allocated, so it’s pretty much first come first served!

Now I did ask the young lady if the flats were all over 55 but she said no, there will be a mix of people, that’s a bit of a shame to be honest but we shall see what the future holds,, maybe I’ll get my own personal drug dealer living next door, then it will be nice meeting all his customers at various hours of the day and night,, and it’s good I’ve got a van, because anyone dumping a sofa, fridge, car or whatever outside I can help with removal! lol. We shall see!

so that’s it,,, I’ve been told I will get the keys early next week, prob Monday, and I can then move in immediately,,

I will then empty the contents of the van inside and go out and get my most needed immediate purchases, which will be,, a washing machine and a fridge freezer!! Maybe a garden set of a table and chairs cheap, just to sit at till the carpets are laid! Then they can go in the garden!

so that’s about it,,, all good,, I’m looking forward to it all now! And I have till the 17th of jan before I start work on the flats, so I should have time to get all sorted! I’m looking forward to a bath! Lolol. And a proper poo on an enamel loo! Lolol.
