Now get round the charity & junk shops most of them will keep stuff until you’re ready!
 
Well thats an end to your adventures with Helga ianthebuilder ,and a good start to the new year with money in your pocket and (fingers crossed) a new flat to look forward to!

Just want to wish you a Happy New Year and lots of happiness and good luck for 2020 in your new home. Fingers crossed for plenty of business coming your way, which I’m sure it will when word gets around as to the standard of your work. :giggle:
 
Just seen report in local paper. Road flooded at A140 Hainford Norfolk near campsite and road covered with tissues. Believed to be from a man chasing down road after a Beautiful Hymer Motorhome being driven by a Cornish Pastie shouting out I love you please don’t leave me.
He was later seen muttering away now I am homeless and I can’t even have a cheese and bacon sandwich.

Well it’s official,,,

I have MAN FLU !!!
Started shaking last night, fell asleep about 7 and just can’t seem to get warm! My head is pounding and I’m coughing, feel all bunged up! Still can’t complain,, I’ve now got a few quid in the bank! Lol.

Going to cancel insurance today, hopefully there’s no penalties,, but again, you never know!

I’m seeing the flat at 11 tomorrow morning, I really hope all goes smoothly!

I shall keep you updated, chat later,, xxx

We broke out and disappeared to spend Christmas Day with family. It was very liberating from the usual tied down feeling and a release from our usual routine - thanks for asking. ;):giggle:

Sorry to hear you’ve got flu, hope you feel better soon.
 
Hope you feel better soon Ian, think it's the shock of losing Helga and, I am assuming, being in bricks and mortar again Good luck with the viewing tomorrow, you will soon have those keys As said before plenty of hot drinks, honey, lemon whisky and hot lemonade (dad's remedy) is great, not sure if it helps but you probably wont care after a few ;)

Watch the paracetamol content in any of these (both contain it I think). You’re only to have equivalent of 8 paracetamol (4000mg or 8 standard 500mg tablets) in 24 hours, or you are overdosing. Big cause of accidental death as it causes liver failure! Most cold remedies contain it , so be careful!
