Good morning,,,

Well I had a relaxing weekend,,,

Yesterday I got my arse in gear, had a good drive round for a couple of hours, handed out lots of cards, spoke to quite a few builders,,

This morning, I have just got back from laying a few new coping stones and a couple of slabs for the guy that owns this farm, on a rental property he has, nice little job, for a few days free pitch! Bonus, oh, and a nice piece of fillet steak, from his butchers shop!! Double bonus!! Lol

Right, now as we speak, i have a mate driving over to me, with the intention of having a chat re joining forces for all building work,, i have known Dave for a good few years, used to be a good bricklayer, but in the last couple of years he has got more into sales,,, he wants to have a word about starting together as a new company, buying leads from these online businesses, and combining his like of sales and my skills set, just to see how we get on,,,, I have no intention however of getting mugged off with all the manual labour, while he swans around in clean clothes living it large,, taking big commissions from the building work! Lolol.

We shall see,, it will be an interesting conversation! Watch this space!!

Good luck if you go with it, the old adage if it sounds to good to be true it probably hmmmm let you work that out. Having said that it helps that you know the guy and therefore know what he is like. Reading between the lines on what I have read, have you lost a bit of confidence in your self ?
Just trust your gut feeling and if you are still undecided, go with your heart is what my dear old nan used to tell me. If I'm talking rubbish please excuse me or go tell me to do one Lol.

No mate I’m fine really, but if I was to tell the truth I would say that I’ve not lost any self confidence at all, I feel good, about everything really,, looking forward to this new challenge, but I don’t find myself caring much about much at all really, if that makes sense!

I find that I’m waking up and not bothering to do any planning, any thought of the future, I’m thinking that every day either something will happen for my benefit, or detriment,, for example,, this morning,, I woke up in a good mood,, went and did that bit of work, came back, dropped the lid of my halogen oven whilst cleaning it and it’s kaput!
Sat outside to have a fag and my hand rolling machine snapped in half,,, Had a shower, whilst using my newish Phillips electric razor ( it can be used in water) I slipped in the tray, fell over and smashed the razor into 20 pieces on the cubicle wall!!

Washed the van this evening and wacked my leg on the bumper while leaning to do the windscreen,,,

Just now knocked the handle off my favourite mug, while putting it in the sink,,,

And I don’t really care,, I’m fact I’ve just had an ugly hand rolled ciggy and sat here laughing about it! It’s all part of life’s rich tapestry mate!

Hope you don't mind me posting, but must say that sounds a better idea than your own building company, let him put some money up , with your skills you could make a killing, one job at a time , not getting bogged down with contracts, and varied work to make it interesting, might even lead to doing one for yourself.
