Ian and helga go south !!

( but I haven't had any luck yet cause after a day up this bloody mountain I look like a homeless person!! )Lol. What does upset me a bit here though is with Jo ( the woman I am helping) no one has bothered to help her get sorted! All the people she thought were friends haven't bothered to even ring her and when she rings them they want paying for everything !! Some friends!!! Anyway I will be back to work in a bit and that will be my Xmas, but I love it!! I think I have about 2 weeks of work left and I must say I will be looking foreword to getting back on my travels , I miss you all. The banter and the tellings off from one or two of you ,, lol. I will be ready for a nice few beers when I leave here for civilisation and sun!! I will speak to you all soon and I will try to get some pics on later today. And if these pics don't put you off buying a finca in Spain nothing will! God help you!!! Have a brill day today and tomorrow merry Xmas. I'm looking forward to seeing more of you next year and sooner if your over here!! Love you all. I have to go before I get all emotional about Xmas and all that gushy stuff!! Lol. HO HO HO !!!! Xxxx. Oh by the way. The bloody fridge has packed up all together now. It refuses to look for or switch to electric supply so it stays on gas and doesn't work at all. Where the bloody hell is Santa when you need him? Lol. XXX

hi babe! Lol. Yes I'm fine she is doing her best, it's just a shame for her, big move on her own, she's not too well either, not much seems to phase her though a very strong women on the inside! Lots of grief in uk hence the move here, a bit rushed like I did but has no support at all. At least I got you lot! Xx

It's over Ian, Katie and Anton got dropped on finals night so it was between Jay, Georgie and Kelly. Jay won but everyone was shocked as it should have been between Georgie and Kelly. I thought Kelly was brilliant on the night and should have took the crown.

Hi Ian.

We broke down and was stuck in Tortosa for a week in January this year. It really is a lovely town, if you have time take a walk around the medieval part of the town and up to the fort. The views of town from the fort are well worth the walk and you can get a beer and lunch at the top.

The river side walk is lovely too and there is a really good fresh produce market by the river with a bar at one end. We partook of a few coffees and brandys sitting in the sun outside that cafe.

Unfortunately I don't recall anywhere you might get the fridge sorted though.

Hi Ian...busy here cooking in prep for big day tomorrow:)

seems like Joe in a bit of a pickle..Has the most important thing water! Sounds like she needs a cess pit tank dug in..can always get by with solar and gas for most else..all cost money though. Just see how neighbors deal with services. I know from investigating it before mains elec costs bundles if there is no connection. Best find out from neighbors again

You need to get fridge sorted and running it of a genny expensive. Look forward to the photos..you nearly got to the coast so well done, have a good Christmas it will certainly be a memorable one!

Fridge problem for boxing day, our fridge freezer is temperamental too.
Has cut out to isolate gas whilst engine running and 2 min after engine switched off. Will not work if van is on slope, although electric activation glows.
I know these sound simple but till someone points you in the right direction, your in the dark.
 
Yes fridge is a nightmare! Doesn't even work off gent judge! It only wants to find gas and not igniting!! As for Jo. She has solar now and gas took me ages to convince her of it! Bloody mad! All good now though, Water goes on in 5. Have to run to clear pipes but all should be ok. I will post later.
