How many nights away per year?

I'm interested to know how many nights you get away in your MH's/PVC's etc per year?

We had our MH on 29th June and have had 59 nights away so far this year.

What's your number?
We are on 36 nights for this year had a few cancellations due to bereavement but hope to do more next year.

71 nights so far, we're in France at the moment so that count will rise. We missed out on August, September, October and November as I had an operation in July followed by cancer treatment :crying1:.

2 ferry crossings already booked for next year
Hope you are getting better by the day.
Look after yourself.

45 nights abroad each year and a minimum of 60 night in the UK, a mixture of weekends, shows and at least 10 nights in Scotland. 🚍🚍🚍

Thinking of going to Australlia flying to Sydney.
Has anyone hired a MOHO from around Sydney or do you know of campsite there.

Sadly, only 63 nights, in England and Wales. Things like regular GP and hospital visits, for both of us, get in the way. And then there are the frequent trips to visit our children and grandchildren. And we don’t go way in the winter months (between November and February). And we had a couple of “cottage” holidays…

And SWMBO keeps muttering things like, “Well, we’ll probably sell the van soon.” And “Well, we don’t know what we’ll be doing next year.” Grrrr!

Please forgive my ignorance of your part of the world, but why can't you take your van to Australia 🤔
Quite simply that NZ has a smaller population than Scotland (spread between 2 islands) and there wouldn't be the demand to sustain such a service (y)

Hi folks. We are at 90 this year. Two trips to Europe and a few short hops in the UK. Our target is 100 but maybe not next year as the cricket season seems to get in the way and next year is a long one.

Anyone know why my water is not heating on my knaus we have Truma running on electric and no fault codes ??

Is it a combi heater? Could be a whole host of reasons from fuses to elements. It could just be its that cold that on electric only it’s struggling to keep the van up to temp? I’ve experienced the same thing with the water indicator flashing for hours in colder weather. Have you tried it on electric and gas combined? You could use that to get it hot then revert to electric again, see if it stays hot.

We've done 4 long weekend fesitvals + stays before after, so about 6 days average on each for 24 nights, then an average of every other weekend over year, so around 52 nights there. Only month we haven't been out (which is always made up by the xmas break) is the last 30 days. And we're off to the van this weekend and will be taking it out if weather is good somewhere within an hours drive -> won't plan until Friday what we doing. Just want to check on it, take it 30 miles or so to run the engine really but we may as well test all systems given we will be needing them over the Christmas and new years weeks.

We home ed, so are more flexible than most people with kids, but since i've started contracting and don't get paid hols that is somewhat limited. A few long weekends away and a week camping in wales so possibly 25 nights away.

We find we need to put the water on "boost" in winter to warm adequately on electric. Only takes about 40 mins, but you lost heating in van for the duration.

I’m full time so I guess it doesn’t count, but I’d say 335 ! Xmas is spent with the kids!

85 nights majority of which was in Europe. We normally get away a bit more in the uk around October/November time, but we decided to treat ourselves this year for our 30th wedding anniversary and flew to India for 16 days.😁

We average 3-4 months away each year. Not quite so good this year. 84 days so far with another 5 booked. I feel at that level we're getting good value from the MH.
