I'm interested to know how many nights you get away in your MH's/PVC's etc per year?
We had our MH on 29th June and have had 59 nights away so far this year.
What's your number?
Free EHU?28.............7 in Dorchester hosp, and 21 in Southampton Heart unit.....
A cruise doesn't count, surely, unless you took the van.......42 in France & Spain, 29 England & Scotland, 14 on a cruise. As Mark Twain observed "Life is what happens while you're trying to do something else"

Just interested in how often people manage to get away in their vans, no ulterior motive at all.Why the question, IMO, along with the number of nights, it's the frequency that is important, a PVC ( or MH) needs to be used and, if possible , lived in, at least a couple of days, every month of the year.
This allows any trapped water to be released from the chassis, the engine to get up to working temperature, the brakes to be used AND the interior to be dried and aired.
I'm sure you have reason for your asking, so good luck with your survey!
Sorry if I gave that impression, I expected no ulterior motive, but it seemed IMM, a curious question to ask?Just interested in how often people manage to get away in their vans, no ulterior motive at all.
That 14 day one we did was Spain & Portugal and didn't get passport stamped at all, so my 'allowance' is intact. We are booked on a month long cruise next year but as long as we don't go ashore on any eu islands it doesn't come off our 90/180.
No doubt but you can't be in two places at once, unless you are Schrodinger's cat.A cruise doesn't count, surely, unless you took the van.......
Meow. My mind is often in a different place to my body.No doubt but you can't be in two places at once, unless you are Schrodinger's cat.
Perhaps they don't need stamps now they have face and number plate recognition technology? That 14 day one we did was Spain & Portugal and didn't get passport stamped at all, so my 'allowance' is intact.
No sign of an immigration desk at all at any of the cruise terminals. I'm sure there probably was one but we didn't have to negotiate it.Perhaps they don't need stamps now they have face and number plate recognition technology?
One of our owner's group members took their campervan to The Faroe Islands and Iceland earlier this year, and reported daily during their 52 day trip. They also wrote two articles about it which were published in a VW magazine. It looked amazing, so I'm rather jealous of your plans!Only about 110 this year but we were vanless from early May until the 1st August so missed our UK travelling and fun rallys this year. Also had our daughter’s wedding in August just after we collected our new van.
Plan on doing better next year. We’re off to Iceland and the Faroe islands in June and July.
Should've been handled by the ship's purser. When I worked for two years on a ship, changing countries every two-three weeks, we only went through customs personally once (I can't remember where). All the other times the passports and crew/staff manifest info were handled by the Purser. No sign of an immigration desk at all at any of the cruise terminals. I'm sure there probably was one but we didn't have to negotiate it.
Still will be clocked I think. That 14 day one we did was Spain & Portugal and didn't get passport stamped at all, so my 'allowance' is intact.
