As above please.
My answer might surprise you

be aware that may German autobahn have speed limits, stick to the rule of thumb German is 10% over the stated limit is ok but 11% is not
ahhh,
But some do not!

Got passed in the summer by a couple of bikes on a empty Autobahn without any speed restriction very early on a Sunday morning.
I suspect they may have been hitting close to 200mph

(Certainly over 150mph as I counted the seconds before they disappeared and it took us nearly a minute at 70mph to get to that point)

Update I have received a letter stating that they will not be pursuing my 138mph speeding fine "in this instance".
Keep that in the paperwork.
When you come to sell, the fact that your old banger can do 138mph (and still do 30mg) will make a good selling point as that is 60mph faster than any other vehicle of a similar spec.

Must be the only motorhome that can drive to Spain in a day!

Not surprised they're not pursuing you at 138mph, they'd never have caught up with you.

I guess the answer depends how late you are for the ferry.
