I've converted 3, starting with a Bedford OB, Mercedes 609 and finishing with a Veiwmaster automatic.Only someone who has never converted a vehicle could say that Owen You still have to fit all the furniture, bathroom, heating, kitchen including the sink waste and clean water plus all the wiring. All units still will need scribing to the walls etc
Rarely a problem on main roads. And the need to pick routes with care.

What makes you think I don't know?
I have to admit, with the last one, I did have my own garage and workshop + electrician and mechanic.
With the others, strip out, put in ring mains of 24 & 230v, then start at the back with marine ply and work forward OR for the Pop-Work Coach conversions, go to a famous Swedish superstore.
After three or four, my company could do a conversation, or reconversion ( depending on what the client wanted) in about 2 days!
Simple as all the Continental Coaches already had toilet, coffee machine, fridge and TV/Videos!

Owen I’m pulling your chain mate - hardly a van conversion - more chucking ready made beds into a empty van/ busAs I say, most was already there, all we needed to know was, the number of IKEA bunkbeds, rear lounge seats, tables and curtains.
Remember, when the groups got to Wembley or other venues, everything like showers, catering etc. were already there!
Ha! When I converted the OB, showers hadn't been invented!Owen I’m pulling your chain mate - hardly a van conversion - more chucking ready made beds into a empty van/ bus
