Funsters,
I left my fridge on battery overnight and it has fully depleted my batteries.
I have gone on EHU now but still have no electricity in my van. Is there something else I need to do?
Paul
So the batteries are charging and are up to 11% now.Have you checked that the ehu is switched on at the post .if so check your internal trips to make sure they are all on.
Is there any indication on your control panel that there is power connected?
I’ll look for mine.Check the trip switch, mines under cooker,
Yes they are lithium. How do I get the BMS to restart the batteries? Is your hab battery lithium, if so then the battery BMS has probably shut down due to low voltage.
Yes they are lithium. How do I get the BMS to restart the batteries?
Yes they are Roamer batteriesDo you know the make of your battery as the method of waking up the BMS varies.
If you have an app for your battery, then check what the BMS shut down voltage/SOC is set to, as you will need to charge your battery as you are at present to above that figure before you stand a chance of the BMS being woken up. You say that you're up to 11%, is that still rising ?Yes they are Roamer batteries
Batteries are a 17% and rising. If you have an app for your battery, then check what the BMS shut down voltage/SOC is set to, as you will need to charge your battery as you are at present to above that figure before you stand a chance of the BMS being woken up. Batteries are a 17% and rising.
I do have the app but I’m not sure where the BMS setting bit is unless it’s in parameters which requires a passcode
So the batteries are continuing to charge and are at 20% and the app is saying the voltage is 13.22
Still no luck with accessing the parameters screen.
I did a search as suggested and it mentioned how to get the batteries to accept a charge. Mine appear to be accepting a charge so is that a good sign?
We now have a Victron Inverter/Charger. Is there something on there that could have tripped?
I have tried that but I think it may have been changed by VanBitz when they installed them."The default password for a Roamer battery's Battery Management System (BMS) is 628203. This password can be changed, but it is recommended to choose a memorable number and write it down in a safe place."
That sounds promising. Do you know what the batteries need to charge to so we have power again?I have a Roamer Lithium battery. The BMS will shut it down when it gets to 10.7a. Just leave it on hook up and it will recharge.
Write it on the Battery itself, who ever got the leisure battery stolen."The default password for a Roamer battery's Battery Management System (BMS) is 628203. This password can be changed, but it is recommended to choose a memorable number and write it down in a safe place."
If you have over 20% they should now be working. What isn't working in the van, 12v or 240.That sounds promising. Do you know what the batteries need to charge to so we have power again?
I’ve just tried that passcode to no avail. Just tested the batteries with a multimeter and they were showing 13.3vMy Roamer battery was delivered with a pairing pin code of 1234 as well as the 638203 passcode for the settings.
Both. Do you know if there is there a master reset switch somewhere? If you have over 20% they should now be working. What isn't working in the van, 12v or 240.
Not familiar with the hymer but someone will.Both. Do you know if there is there a master reset switch somewhere?
