Funsters,

I left my fridge on battery overnight and it has fully depleted my batteries.

I have gone on EHU now but still have no electricity in my van. Is there something else I need to do?

Paul

Have you checked that the ehu is switched on at the post .if so check your internal trips to make sure they are all on.
Is there any indication on your control panel that there is power connected?

Is your hab battery lithium, if so then the battery BMS has probably shut down due to low voltage.

So the batteries are charging and are up to 11% now.

My HYMER control panel is flashing red where you check the state of charge.

Yes they are lithium. How do I get the BMS to restart the batteries?

Yes they are Roamer batteries
If you have an app for your battery, then check what the BMS shut down voltage/SOC is set to, as you will need to charge your battery as you are at present to above that figure before you stand a chance of the BMS being woken up. You say that you're up to 11%, is that still rising ?

Batteries are a 17% and rising.

I do have the app but I’m not sure where the BMS setting bit is unless it’s in parameters which requires a passcode

I don't know the specifics of your particular battery, so will not speculate on the method of waking up your BMS, but do a Youtube search for "waking up a lithium battery bms system" which will give you an insight as to common methods that you can give a try.

Have you tried 1234 for the password if the default has not been changed ?

So the batteries are continuing to charge and are at 20% and the app is saying the voltage is 13.22

Still no luck with accessing the parameters screen.

I did a search as suggested and it mentioned how to get the batteries to accept a charge. Mine appear to be accepting a charge so is that a good sign?

We now have a Victron Inverter/Charger. Is there something on there that could have tripped?

if they are rising and up to 20% they are accepting a charge, leave em on, the victron charger wont have tripped if its charging.
Make sure you stay on EHU if you are using the fridge on electric if its a high power 3 way especially if you dont have enough power and solar to cover for it

I have a Roamer Lithium battery. The BMS will shut it down when it gets to 10.7a. Just leave it on hook up and it will recharge.

Raul, can you help with regard to the Victron Multiplus maybe tripping ?

I have tried that but I think it may have been changed by VanBitz when they installed them.

That sounds promising. Do you know what the batteries need to charge to so we have power again?

The Multiplus won't have any affect on the 12v side working.

My Roamer battery was delivered with a pairing pin code of 1234 as well as the 638203 passcode for the settings.

Write it on the Battery itself, who ever got the leisure battery stolen.

If you have over 20% they should now be working. What isn't working in the van, 12v or 240.

I’ve just tried that passcode to no avail. Just tested the batteries with a multimeter and they were showing 13.3v

Both. Do you know if there is there a master reset switch somewhere?

Not familiar with the hymer but someone will.
Check the fuse near the battery (probably within 30cm on the big power lead) and be 50 amps
Then check the control.panel for main or master on/off switches

I’ve just checked the 50A fuse and it bleeped so I assume that’s good.

The main control panel has a switch for the 12v but it’s not doing anything yet.

I’ve just tried the circuit breaker but still nothing.
The batteries are now at 32%
