Gareth & Phil have fun in Spain 2025.

All done.
We are very happy.
The step was a mechanical problem rather than electrical, a smallpice of metal which bends in and out of position on the motor system which is pliable, was not pliable in the correct position so the step assuamed it was out when it was in, if that makes sense.
The black tank sensor had a connection that was not in correctly.
The grey and fresh sensors have been recalibrated and both now seem to be correct.
The plastic catch underneath the kitchen drawer have been replaced.
Any other catches which had issues have All been reset to ensure smooth operation.
The douche has been fitted in the toilet.
The kitchen fly screen has been replaced.
The shower screen catch has now now been screwed to the wall instead of just sticky pad.
The sockets have all even given the software update.
The 2nd leisure battery now register's on the system.
The washing machine now works off the inverter as well as mains power.
The main screen that powers the radio and other apps on the front drivers screen now works in habitation mode, this was our mistake we had turned off the radio on the main system which stops it working in habitation mode, appropriate training has now been received 😳.

The main door fly screen did not arrive.
The shower gel holder parts did not arrive.
A new camera has been ordered for the 360 vision system as the front part has stopped working, I hadn't even noticed that, premium spotted it.
The self levellers still do not seems to level automatically, we still have to manually adjust to level, will ask them to try again.

After calling into phils sisters in Tingley Yorkshire we came home to our base in Middlewich to a mountain of mail and had a lovely nights sleep.
Going to spend the next couple of days doing reorganisation of the motorhome, clean the outside and start our French visa application now we have all of our information at our fingertips.

Thus ends this lovely journey where the food and wine flowed like the cornucopia horn of plenty.
We visited some places we had previously visited and some new ones we never new exsisted.
We met some new persons and some old friends.
We had some fair weather days, including beach days and some rotten weather days that just meant we dipped into our own food and bank reserves whilst vegetative mode was enabled 😁.
We got some excellent tips and advise from fellow funsters and I hope we showed some lovely locations to visit.

See you on the road and please say hello.

Thank you
Gareth and Phil
Mr porky x2 😁

Good luck with the visa application. If you do it as well as you organize your food and wine. You won't have a problem. We enjoyed our year when we got ours and wouldn't hesitate to apply again if needed.

Great that Premium did such a premier job of looking after the wagon! 👍🏻

Thanks for all the food, doors, architecture and beverages! Really enjoyed following the journey!

Enjoyed our few days/meals together too! 😋

Rene says hello both too! ✔️

Mr Mousy has all the info from our French visa application Gareth, possibly with a spread sheet, if you think it may help send him a message with your email and I’m sure he will whizz it over. xx

Hi everyone
Currently writing this sat towering above Hebdon bridge parked up at a campra spot (thanks campra) Heptonstall social and bowling club at only £5 a night.
An update, unfortunately we won't be going for a French visa due to delays in getting different ducks in a row.

We will no longer be doing the Royal Highland show after 41 years (attend as a teen working for my mam and dad) we had to decline there invitation to attend as they put the rent up to 3 times last year's cost.
This does mean we are no longer required to be in Scotland at the end of June.
Cheap Tickets ( boo hoo not business class, yet i have managed to secure extra leg room on all flights 😁) have been purchased flying us to asia landing in Bangkok .
Our itinerary is 2 weeks in Jomtien beach which we know very well as we have friends out there.
Flying from there to koh samui for a week.
Then flying to krabi for another week.
It's hot and humid and not the best season to do Asia but we do like it, so sorry France maybe next year.

Any advice of which location to do next, I'm looking at maybe Bali as there's cheap flights from Krabi but we could fly back up to Bangkok and maybe Sri Lanka.
Any suggestions are gratefully received (be nice 🙂)

We will carry on with europe in July after we have done phils 40th birthday cruise out of Southampton with all the 17 family members on the Queen Anne sailing up into the Norwegian fjords for a week.
That's a lot to process but it's just that we can fly to Asia and spend 2 months out there cheaper than mooching around the UK in the motorhome.
Thank you

Shame about the show, I'm sure you won't be the only one declining their offer!

Enjoy your trips though.

Yes, I'm sure but it's there decision.
Luckily we have been offered possibly a new contract at Christmas time which after a small refit and an exterior new look on the equipment will make up for it, so not bothered much 😁.

Like the sound of your Asia trip, we stopped at 2 ports in Bali on our recent cruise and would definately recomend a visit. We would also recomend Khao Lak in Thailand which we thoroughly enjoyed .
Shame about Edinburgh but your new contract in Manchester will hopefully make up for it.
Enjoy your hols and Phil's birthday cruise
Catch up soon

Bali is a fantastic place. One of our go to places for some relaxation and craziness too. You must visit Ubud. Which is inland. The surrounding jungle is fantastic. Be careful with your valuables in Monkey forest:giggle:.

Take a trip or even stay in the rocky north part of the island. Where your can also visit the live volcano. Virgin beach is also a great stopover for a relaxing night or two. When you're up that way.

Denpasar is a busy place. Get your street food here. Be careful about people offering to show your around, or following you closely. They attempt to get commission from the stalls/shops. Stating they're your guides. You can get some amazing material there too.

Seminyak and Kuta speak for themselves. Lots of Ausies there, especially Kuta. It's their Benidorm. So the bars, hotels and restaurants reflect that. We usually stay in Seminyak and walk the long beach to Kuta. Some lovely places to stay and eat in Seminyak. I think Jamie Oliver had a place to eat there. Some nice French places to eat too.

Plenty of bars along the beach. You can also learn how to surf here.

One thing about traffic. It's the maddest place on earth to drive/ride. Makes Bangkok look sensible. We've hired all manner of vehicles there in the past but we prefer getting around on a scooter. You basically have to take your brain out and be like the locals!!!

We love the place and will be back next year.

Sri Lanka is highly recommended such a lovely place & fantastic people...Nip over to the Maldives 400 mls away been 3 times in the past , now we're talking Paradise 👣👣👣all you leave behind is your footprints never wore shoes till we left 😀

I can't imagine doing Bali in a van. To give you an example. We hired a 4x4 one year to head up to the north of the island. We started on a decent road out of Seminyak. Which turned into a dual carriageway. This then turned into loose tarmac. As we overtook a coach, we were overtaken by a lorry, which was being overtaken by a pickup, which was being undertaken by a scooter, as we were also being undertaken by a scooter, whilst another coach was overtaking us all down the wrong side of the dual carriageway, against the traffic! That's seven vehicles across two dual carriageways. All in one direction.

Plenty of amazing sights to see. Thankfully, never from a hospital bed:giggle:.
