Your relationship is with the dealer that took your order (and your money). They should take responsibility and get on the case not just shift the blame elsewhere. Up to the sector to sort its self out, not the customer.I am certainly not saying dealers are perfect, I’m just stating you can’t give the dealers a knock on customer care for something that is completely out of their control with no ability to influence it at all but yet their the ones that take all the abuse for it.
