Gareth & Phil have fun in Spain 2025.

That red gets a 4.3 score on my vivino app and at £91 a bottle I might not be picking it up anytime soon in the UK😏 better value in Spain hopefully 😏🥂
I think it was only about €45 a bottle and thats in a restaurant, however they don't mark up wines much in Spain.

Sunday morning visual treat for everyone.
Last nights meal was truly amazing and believe it or not it actually snowed whilst we sat in the restaurant. Didn't lay though thank goodness.
One of the best tarta de queso ever, absolutely sublime.

Was that 3 bottles of wine in one meal? I'd have needed carrying out lol

I agree but shoddy workmanship should have no home in this level of motorhome (hardware issues) Plus don't forget we had a big problem with our last morelo not been able to rectify the software issue between the morelo part and the iveco part.
We shall await the outcome but I'm definitely not spending 80 man hours sat at northern commercials brighouse, although you can get amazing pork pies from the butchers in town 😁😁.
I hope you enjoyed New Zealand, it is a very special country and I hope in the future Phil and I can go again.
I suppose in one way it's good you've taken it on a 3 month trip and found a lot of these issues at once. Imagine if it was someone taking a van for a week or 2 here and there and each time something else cropped up and they had to keep returning to the dealer to have them sorted.

But I have to agree no motorhome should have all these faults when new never mind a top brand of that value .. I'd be raging .

As it stands yours has more problems than mine....which makes me feel a bit better about the annoying issues I have with my 20 year old van. But I do hope they sort yours out quickly

I think all the modern electric stuff is a nightmare to get head around.

My water tank gauges have only just started to play up ...I keep getting a "drink water reserve" alarm just now even when the tank is full ...it was working fine up till last week . And occasionally my control panel switches off when I use the kitchen tap.

24 snags within 3 months of ownership.
Oh dear
However I do like the beast, it's a great motorhome which is so easy to drive.
I'm confident that we shall get a positive outcome from premuim motorhomes.

Is this the usual though for new builds, it's a lot of electrical and software issues, but also silly hardware stuff as well
I think if it was me that I would be less understanding then you and I would also address Morelo direct👍 and I would plan a visit to the Nice people at Volkner 😎😇

Unfortunately we used up all of our reserves for this one.
I'm not concerned just saddened.

You have given it a good shakedown and for sure you shouldn’t have these problems but they will be sorted and you still have a lovely van either way 😏 trust me 😃

Your water tank gauge is fussy as to the type of water, when we bought our Flair in Scotland the gauge didn’t read but they said it would on the next fill, and it did😊

The fresh water is fine. it's the grey registering incorrectly and the black not even registering.

I love the size of that steak on the cold counter, trouble is not a Holland;s pie in sight or a bowl of mushy peas
That's no problem we are back in the northwest and staying on Burrs campsite in Bury for a weekend in Manchester with friends 😉 in a couple of weeks. Then a weekend in Blackpool with other friends so I reckon we may get the opportunity to try some classics.

Are you on the Super Sense? They have proven to be less than perfect In think 😏 (there is a new improved mod out now) and anyway my reply was to Notthernraider 😄

Both the fresh and grey have stopped working at the same time so I'm of the opinion it's an elektrikery problem but I can't find a fuse for them although both cables head off in that direction.. they've been fine up till last week . I still get the lights in the rear bedroom work one day and not the next too . It has a couple of gremlins I need to sort through

I think SuperSense reads in 1% increments where the standard offering reads 25% increments.
The senders I have on this van only have 2 prongs yet somehow I get 10% increments ... on previous vans I had the sender had 4 different length prongs and gave me 25% to 100%.

I've tried cleaning prongs etc but all looks fine .
I'm sure it's something else.

We have supersence on the fresh and grey with black supposed to be in 25% increments
We just have the standard 25%, (too stingy to tick the box) and it works OK, fingers crossed.

It seems like quite a lot! It’s a new model which always creates some teething issues. Great news is you love the Motorhome so all these things can be resolved; one would hope so anyway! 👍🏻

We had a nice shop in the city and purchased a few bits and pieces, we also bought some wine but phils whisked that into storage before I photographed them.
We are now in Burgos, decided i was too tired to make it to Logronia.

Just sent this email to premuim motorhomes this morning as we have some more snags occur.

Hi Caroline

I just need to add some more things that are either broken or not working as they should.
To recap previous
1.
2nd leisure battery needs to be added to the read system currently is not on the sensors.
2.
Grey tank is showing incorrect readings.
3.
Black tank is not even reading.
4.
Damaged flyscreen on both kitchen window and habitation door.
5.
Step system keeps failing.
6.
Shower screen catch and soap/shampoo holder need to be replaced as failed.
7.
Bed support on passenger side next to the shower needs to be reattached so the sliding door to the bedroom can be used.
8.
Kitchen drawers new plastic parts from underneath the drawer need fitting, drawer realigned to stop it from sliding open whilst in transit.
9.
Sanitary douche hose in the bathroom needs to be fitted as per the initial order.
10.
Software fix for engine running lights needs to be undertaken to prevent unnecessary caution lights.
11.
Air filter warning light needs to be looked at, comes on when it rains.
12.
Washing machine sockets needs to be on the inverter system as per initial order.
13.
Whining Feedback through the speaker system, solution to be applied.
14.
Noice from aircon/heating vent whilst driving.
15.
Software patch required so we don't have to constantly keep removing the electric sockets and reattaching them so they work.

And now the new problems.

1.
Fuel cap is faulty it's become very difficult to remove as it keeps spinning and not releasing
2.
The ok garman voice command only works half the time.
3.
Self levelling system needs to be checked as it constantly doesn't get level on the automatic function and I always have to adjust it. This never happened with the previous e&p system.
4.
Front information screen doesn't work if we are not driving, so we can't use the radio or apps function whilst parked. It also reinitialise itself overtime we start up to drive.
5.
We are getting a battery engine warning light on the master system above the door, the battery's are fine, starts no problem. Needs attention.
6.
Bin drawer keeps opening in transit.
7.
Half of the overhead locker catches are either too hard to open or don't match properly. This may be a design fault but a solution needs to be found.
8.
The drawers under the bed and the drawers in the lounge area are misaligned with the catch systems they have. Needs attention or new catches.
9.
Gas tank sensors which tells me when the tank is empty is faulty needs to be reset or replaced.

This does seem to be a lot of snags for a 1st class motorhome.
I hope these problems can be received with speed.

Thank you
Gareth

Wow! Good job the van was cheap. Oh, hang on a minute....

Looks like you have a few issues guys but remember it is a new design with some new or certainty new to MORELO tech in it so I suppose some teething problems had to be expected, as you say I am sure Premium will get on top of it when you are home.
Disagree, crap happens and fortunately it seems nothing serious enough to spoil the trip but some of these items should have been resolved at several stages: the initial design process, at quality control before it left the factory plus some of these items should have been picked up by the dealer. Still very much a cottage industry with not so cottage industry prices.

I get your points completely, especially if your vehicle is called a Palace and costs multiple 100’s of 1000’s of GBP! 🤣

The thing I took from Gareth’s post is pragmatism despite the not insignificant list of ‘niggles’, they have overall delight with their new purchase, which at the end of the day, is fantastic! 🫶

I also think if he needs to fix the step many more times, he’s gunna lose his 💩…. 😉
