Chewing gum and duct tape?
Temporary, not a full time fixing it could be a Rolls Royce, its a long way from southern Spain to Germany! :ROFLMAO:

I have used this solution a few times and, depending on where, it works well as a good solution for screws that no longer thread into the wood (cocktail stick).

I think I would be just a bit ... disgruntled if I had as many snags with such an expensive vehicle as you seem to have had.

I'd be weeping like a willow
Crying over a Morelo
Bit naughty, your right.

A small sliver of plastic off a cable tie works too!

Another alternative is next size up screws, width not length.

Final option is plastic wood.. use a cable tie or cocktail stick to poke it into the hole! But if you have a cable tie or cocktail stick, you may as well use them for options one and two above! 🤪

Small pilot hole is needed to get the thread going in the plastic wood!

Or wait and add it to the list of snags for PMH to do when you get back! 🤟

I’ve filled a good few holes using cocktail sticks in the past, even better if you’ve got some wood glue to squirt in as well. Another option is 2 part epoxy putty which you’ll get from the Chinese shop. Mix it together, push it in the hole with a cocktail stick or something, prod a little pilot hole in it then 20 minutes later it’s set harder than the “wood” around it.
