Gareth & Phil have fun in Spain 2025.

Times weve looked at the back of Arte VIda it’s been worse than a Shanty town! Depends on the wind/ weather I think

Gibraltar is very marmite for a lot of people, we actually like to do a call in if we are passing.
Deal of the day was the 6 Christmas hats I bought for the business normally £10 each got them on sale for £2.99 each.
No pork pies but did get some lovely thick rindless back bacon, perfect.
Plus a very cheap belstaff t shirt, not a copy a real one at half price.

Has anyone done Tarifa, is it worth doing ?
Yes, the approach & outer bit of the town looks a bit depressing but once you get into the old town its worth a wander (in our opinion) I like the vibe of the place & really fancy taking one of the whale watching trips from there.

We paid for parking near the centre as we needed services but there were vans parked up everywhere. Very laid back surfer types but not particularly cheap. We enjoyed it very much, lots of places to eat.

Is the local Spanish area worth a look see from the marina before we leave Gibraltar.
We can get the e bikes out if need be.

Albariño goes really well with the fish. The food looks great(y)
And that's a very happy cat:LOL:
I had bought whole fish to bbq but decided on pan fry instead so the local moggys got the extra waste bits

La Linea is not the most beautiful place in my opinion nor the safest in some areas (in any case I would just stick in the old town only).

ShiftZZ has family there I think. I wanted to have a look but we didn't have time, the bit we saw/heard sounded very lively, typical spanish

Last year we cycled from Algeciras area over to La Linea to see Gibraltar from the outside. I recall we named the ride on Strava 'La Linea is a dump' if that answers your question 🤣
