Gareth & Phil have fun in Spain 2025.

You cant see the celery, whipped cream and flying helmet! :ROFLMAO:
Yet the laundry has found its way into the front of the motorhome

Another beautiful sunny day in spain.
A lovely bike ride along water culverts and canals, although lots of water birds not much else.
On the way back we stopped at the local village Marina salada and found a local bar/cafeteria open for food, lunch was pork knuckle, fries and salad washed down with a pint of cerveza.
Now back at the camper.
I have made a lasagne this morning but phil has just mentioned that there's a wood fired pizza truck taking orders for later.
Lasagna may be for tommorow, we shall see

Well we had a mishap leaving our last camper spot, on route the draw come flying out on a bend and broke its mechanism underneath the drawer. I'm not hopeful of a fix as its designed to bend slightly on a rocking motion where it's snapped off
Superglue and gaffa tape has been applied and if I can get it to fix in we may be able to adjust the over side to out of alignment so it sticks to the drawer above thus creating a sticky drawer and hopefully allow us to drive without flying drawer scenario, if that makes sense.
Any arrived at mar menor campsite and they have given us the worst pitch on site as it has 2 trees in the middle of the pitch so we can't get our canopy out.
After a polite but insistent conversation we are here first 2 nights and a much more suitable pitch from Friday which is also closer to the beach.

Seems that (at least from the photo) you could back the van up to right on the edge of the pitch and you would clear the trees. But I guess you already tried that, didn't you?

Was the drawer loaded? 1907 Heidsieck Champagne or a Domaine de la Romanee-Conti 1945 vintage that broke with the drawer flinging itself open? A e mail to Morelo with the bill for the 2 broken bottles should more than cover it!
On a more serious note is it worth contacting the Spanish agent to see if they can send you a new mechanism? I don't think that was the pitch we chose as we avoided the palm trees!
Oh and not to rub it in we are stuck here in thick fog that is starting to freeze, watch out you don't get sunburn! ::bigsmile:

If it's gone beyond plastic welding with a soldering iron you might find a spare in Spain, it seems to be a "Grass Dynapro"

I think the drawer must of been their laundry basket

My draw came out in sympathy, some stupid boy didn't latch it. Flew out on first roundabout. I got away with it one of the plastic latches that holds it to the rail had just pulled the screws out. Some bits of cocktail sticks in the enlarged hole and screwed it back in.

They sure like giving you the sh*t pitches in Spain. 🤣
