We are currently in the south of France and noticed some v long queues at petrol stations this am. Our neighbour where we have stopped has made us aware that the refineries have walked out on strike so no fuel is making its way to forecourts

I was wondering if anyone is aware how long this might be going on for ???

Total next to us at Sanary sur Mer, just had delivery. €1.89 for diesel. Other stations have queues but all types of fuel.

We have been on the D117 route through the Aude these past few days (Perpignan across to Foix and up to A64 ) and haven’t seen any fuel stations with fuel ( all closed off) until we got to Lavelnat.

Fuel stations after that seem to have fuel but it’s patchy and they are busy .

The autoroute says there is fuel across to Pau at service stations , very varied prices .

Drove from Villers Cotterets to Auxere on D roads. Less fuel around with some stations closed and done without diesel and Short queues. We found Carrfour in Sens had diesel and no queue.

Drove less than two hours today in north east France. Passed about 6 filling stations. One had no fuel. I filled up at supermarket for €1.90 per litre. One other car there. No queues seen anywhere.

Filled up in Blois with diesel, just as they ran out of unleaded. It does feel like in this part of the Loire the fuel is more hit and miss with some stations closed and others missing one or more fuels.

So much for Macron claiming it was sorted over a week ago.

We've had no problems at all in the Dordogne, over the past couple of weeks. All fuel stations we have seen have been open, and we haven't seen any queues.

Just driven back from Loire to Calais. No issues with supply unless you are driving on fumes and happen to pass a closed station ( very few ).
