FRANCE ON THE CARDS

Came through the tunnel this afternoon 4 hours early, they asked if we wanted to pay £20 to go early, but I declined, they put us straight on a train immediately 😁 Didn’t not check our Covid certification which was on our phones, didn’t check the fridge and now we are on the Aire at Bergues, good luck Phil&Mena👍

Did they ask to see your test results as well?
They want to see the antigen result and the vaccination record and the declaration. Paper copy or phone record will do. Although if you make it easy for them it's in your own interest. If you mean test result for antigen test then yes , they seem to be pretty hot on this one.

Are any Motorhomes displaying the Angle Mort stickers?
Most European ones are under 3.5 so don’t have to have them.

Only seen them on a few French motorhomes, not seen any on Dutch or German, the latest French a class just come in probably over 3.5 and no stickers. 😁 Bob.

So! We have now both taken our tests this morning and got a self looking certificate to shove up the nostrils of the Frency Border plod. Ferry crossing due for 5 pm but sod that. We will go there in the next hour and see what they do might get an earlier crossing if there running as its very high gusts of winds down here.
Not heard of a self looking certificate. Can you explain what this is please?

Please can anyone recently travelling to France confirm what forms are needed on top of a negative PCR test?
On the official website I can see that a 'Sworn undertaking' is clear, however they also refer to a travel certificate but on that form it states it is only for unvaccinated arrivals. So as I see it I just need to show my vaccination proof, negative test and the sworn undertaking, but not the travel certificate?

If you are going via the chunnel then on your booking ET have links to upload the docs you need in advance.

I think that is an alternative name for the green card.

Ok we're booked for the end of the month. Dover - Calais
Dogs had rabies jab and booked in for AHC
Green cards on their way
Just got to book the tests now.

Does anyone have a link to the latest declaration form statement please.

I can't seem to find the right one.

Also is this all I need?

Thanks

You might not need it by the end of the month! Hopefully 🤔

I hope that I am understanding this text from the above document. No test required for double jabbed people?

2.2. Health control measures

If you are vaccinated , you must present proof of vaccination status and a sworn statement attesting to the absence of symptoms of covid-19 infection and contact with a confirmed case of covid-19.

If you are not vaccinated , you must present the transport company and border control authorities with a negative PCR or antigen test dating from less than 72 hours before departure (departure of the first flight in the event of a connecting trip ). Children under eleven are exempt from testing. You must also present a sworn statement attesting to the absence of symptoms of covid-19 infection and contact with a confirmed case of covid-19.

Negative PCR test also required.

If you are double jabbed then a negative antigen test 48 hrs before departure will suffice. If you want to pay for the more expensive PCR test, go for it.

Just booked ours at wren health care also..39 quid each.
Didn't buy the return tests through not sure if we will need them ?

How about a NHS lateral flow self test for home ferry?

I'm fairly certain your going to have to pay for a private antigen test when returning to the UK.

A question for the collective

Worst case scenario - what happens if your return to UK antigen / PCR test is positive?

I assume you would be denied travel home but cannot find any info about self isolation requirements in France for travellers in motorhomes. Can you officially self isolate on a campsite? Has anyone been there and got the T-shirt??

Booked to travel over in a couple of weeks - hoping to get a trip in before the next change of policy and want to consider all possible events. We are both double jabbed and have 2 dogs with us.

Source of your info please as it contradicts the official advice shown here.
Ok, a 48 hour antigen test is acceptable but my point was a negative test either way is required. From UK government website. Sorry I didn’t make that clear.
