Why? How would they know I’ve been out of France? Even if I filled the Belgian and German forms in, a man can change his mind, right? On our trip not seen any maned border crossing but might get a problem at Calais.
I’ve done it already and got a qr code for both of usIf going through Belgium remember to do the online form.
Very unlikely to ask for proof, we were asked at Dieppe what other countries we had been to.Why? How would they know I’ve been out of France? Even if I filled the Belgian and German forms in, a man can change his mind, right?![]()
On the day we were going from Belgium into France just on the border where I think it’s the A16 it turns into traffic was filtered down to walking pace diverted up onto a slip road and there were about 8 police officers looking at vehicles going past. Will there be roadblocks on the E40 at the Belgian and French borders stopping traffic coming back from Germany?
There is a diversion off the e40 just inside the border near dunkirk but it was just random vehicles being stopped last time i came through. As Belgium is in the EU not going to make any difference to france one would assume. Will there be roadblocks on the E40 at the Belgian and French borders stopping traffic coming back from Germany?
I very much doubt it, never seen one so far. Will there be roadblocks on the E40 at the Belgian and French borders stopping traffic coming back from Germany?
They are all lovely but can get a bit same same. We vary it by finding a riverside stellplatz and have a day walking/cycling or just watching the boats.I prefer Nordlingen.
They are everywhere saw one today and 3 days in Rothenberg a bit much for me.
Obviously neither of you have met Mrs Westy, she could spend a fortnight there!A good day in Rothenburg is enough I think, did you stay in the car park near the fire station?
Only going for a week you would have been out site EU in the previous 10 days.As Belgium is in the EU not going to make any difference to france one would assume.
A couple of hours was enough for us.Obviously neither of you have met Mrs Westy, she could spend a fortnight there!![]()
The Christmas Shop also has a branch in BruggesYeah I know about Rothenburg, Val only want to go Christmas shop![]()
It has them all over, inc nurnburg and rudesheim but she like the original, I think there’s around 4-5 in rothenburg aloneThe Christmas Shop also has a branch in Brugges

Too right, after two years not going it was great to be back over there, roll on June (3 weeks to croatia and backBet you are glad you went
We feel very lucky that we went to France for November with one test only on return, as we had originally intended January and that would have now been probably impossible. We were able to use two of our remaining Tunnel FQ crossings as well so that was useful. And we had wonderful weather.Wow after todays news on France, I think we’ve been lucky to sneak in and out before this omicron became any worse!
