An Airbus A400M has just done a low pass over us on a circuit before heading off.

Thanks, looks like he has relatives in Torbay. Starts from the SE training area , usually busy on the Thursday War with FRADU/Cobham/Draken.Found it on FR24. Looks like he was out for a jolly before heading back to Mildenhall.

Likely to be Tucano's, the RAF's basic trainer.Last night around 12.30am we had two large turbo props scream extremely low at speed over our house, my wife almost had a heart attack and every dog in the street was barking. Wish I knew why they'd fly so low at that time. There was less than 10 seconds between them.
We get them all the time over us. Besides the trainers there are quite a few low level aircraft going over. Verteuil, France.Likely to be Tucano's, the RAF's basic trainer.
We regularly get them flying low over us.

Sounded a lot bigger than that, I live near the end of the runway of Mid Wales airport and I'm used to hearing aircraft of that size and have the Air Ambulance going over at all hours. What ever it was hadn't taken off from there, they flew at 90 degrees to the runway.Likely to be Tucano's, the RAF's basic trainer.
We regularly get them flying low over us.

Must have been just looked again and as you say it's on a different flight route now.Possibly a GPS/transponder error, think it might now be showing somewhere over Russia a couple hundred miles east
The RAF retired Tucano in 2019, replaced by the Texan T1.We get them all the time over us. Besides the trainers there are quite a few low level aircraft going over. Verteuil, France.
Still going, but very slow.
Thought it was a rivet joint but FR names it a Stratolifter. Still doing rings right now. Got a good video of it from the beach but too big to upload.Looks like a Rivet Joint, can tell by the odd porpoise type nose and funny antenna bulges on the sides.
Wonder what that's been sniffing, I did see something in the news about a Russia naval exercise in the Baltic & North Sea.
Perhaps Hercules? We are on a low flying route for them but it’s more a whoosh than a roar as they are relatively quiet for their size!Last night around 12.30am we had two large turbo props scream extremely low at speed over our house, my wife almost had a heart attack and every dog in the street was barking. Wish I knew why they'd fly so low at that time. There was less than 10 seconds between them.
