Favourite European Motorhome Destinations

We are all different!!! We feel that we have done our share of museums old archeology and mobs of tourists over many years of motorhoming and general travel!!----------- BUT we love being on the road -- our favourites are Portugal (that's why we live here!) And Sweden-‐--- Norway is truly stunning and to keep costs down we entered from Sweden a fair way up and crisscrossed from Norway to Sweden for shopping trips---- unless you are in a hurry to part with your cash dont buy alcohol or spend too much time eating out in Norway But dont let the cost stop you seeing what is a truly stunning country with people that have a close friendship with uk!!----like the Portuguese they can't help being sooo friendly and generous!!

We favour listing and touring Greece. The outward journey allows you a peep at other countries on the way. Campsites in Greece are generally good and friendly. The ones open in "winter season" are economical. If you want to tour around the many ancient sites in Greece there are many opportunities for so-called wild camping. As long as you do not put the tables and chairs out or open the awning you are generally free to stay where you like. In 3 years I was only told once to move on. But the nice man told me to move 100 metres further away as it would be quieter for me! We just love the country, especially the Peloponnese.
