Favourite European Motorhome Destinations

If anyone has watched F1 on the tele there's nothing to touch having coffee on the starting grid or going around the circuit in your van , or standing in the tunnel and imagine the row there must be when the cars go through.
This isn't all though it's just the atmosphere of the place.
Not motorhome friendly though unfortunately, have to park out of town and bus or train in.

Went a few years ago when we were on m/c -tour of Prince Rainiers castle (worth a go ) did the circuit and the casino (see how the other half lives !

The chance would be a fine thing...... :(
My plan this year was to visit all the places mentioned plus many others, in a last big tour, but this was shattered by events, hope to get to it next year if things improve.

El Rocio, Donana national park near Almonte,Huelva, Spain. Great place for a visit if you like wildlife and the village is like something from a cowboy film. We do it every year for around four weeks.❤️😊

Outer Hebrides. Croatia. Switzerland. Vive la difference!

Switzerland 🇨🇭 Germany 🇩🇪 and Northern Italy 🇮🇹
Some parts of France 🇫🇷 also.
I’d quite happily be anywhere at the moment.

Another vote for the Italian lakes. Fantastic scenery, excellent food, fab wine and great weather throughout the spring and summer.IMG_20170528_201835924.jpg

Just absolutely blooming awesome. Do not leave this earth without going here first. Aire on site. Kennels too!

I really didn’t enjoy the Puy du Fou. We went to a show in the evening, it was a long convoluted story about local French history. I found it hard to follow and I was freezing cold.

On the other hand the cast of 5000 people plus hundreds of horses, pigs, geese etc provided one of the highlights of our lives. Spectacle on a grand scale. Nothing else like it that I know of.

That's a shame. We spent a long day there in the rain and everyone enjoyed the whole day. The three musketeers in the chateau was extraordinary as was the Roman gladiator section. There is so much to see we found ourselves almost running from show to show so as not to miss anything. A two full day trip would be better as you could return to your van for lunch. We stayed on the Aire for two nights.
