Read quite a few posts about people seriously considering these. If anyone could give me some feedback on what they think of them I'd be most grateful. I'm reluctant to go down the Michelin route having read more negative views than positive, I guess other option might be the Continental Van Contact 4Season.

Getting five new Falken Euro All Season van11 on Monday. Thanks for your recommendations. Will let you know how they go. This is a pic of a 5.5yr old Michelin camper tyre that gave way in Germany at 80kph. I always inspected them and the tyre fitter said this shouldn’t happen to premium tyres.

Well, have had my tyres replaced only to find that the fitters have damaged all four of my alloys wheels. They have accepted responsibility and I am now getting them refurbed!

Yep, and getting them done in satin black all over instead of the diamond cut which eventually ends up with snail trails on the shiny bit.Bit of hasslebut a bonus, nice shiny alloys with your new tyres

After months of pondering which tyres to choose, yesterday I took the plunge and had the Falken Allseason tyres fitted at Protyre in Bradford (£135 each).
Contacted Falken re pressures and was a little surprised at the recommendation from them. Maybe I was a little optimistic with top speed!
Any thoughts?

What pressures did they suggest for the axle weights you running at?

Can I say, I have never had problems with any tyres cracking on either my VW T25 nor my 2007 X250 Ducato (both of which run near maximum weight) on the Ducato I have Michelin Camper Van tyres on the front and Avon on the back, why is this?
Could it be that neither sit around for weeks without being driven at least 25miles, once a fortnight during winter and more frequent over summer OR could it be that both are on their original steel rims and tyre pressure on the Ducato PVC is 60psi all round and wear correctly. (This pressure is also checked fortnightly)
PS. My small trailor DOES sit around for weeks, so I put it up on axle stands, this is what I would also do with any vehicle.

The original pic did seem very high to what another member had back from them with 1900 front 2200 rear, 50psi and 60psi respectively. Those bar figures are high, unless they are changing stance on pressures.
Mine are 50 and 60 and not noticed any sway over what’s normal, rears possibly look a little flat but not desperately so.
I’m planning to put rears to 65 though so will see it that makes any difference

I use the pressures on the chart as a starting point and work around them. As visual is always the best soloution in the end as you are only guessing on your loads as they are variable

I have to say, that at almost twice your weight, the pressures advised direct from Falken Germany, (for the very same tyres), was around 4 x bar front and rear.

No problem Ian, ie, 4 x bars pressure, equal to 60Psi per tyre. I have twin wheels on the rear and single wheels on the front.

Recently experienced a front driver-side puncture with Michelin CP. The side wall was so strong, that I could still drive to safety with reasonable control of the vehicle. Just fitted Michelin Crossclimate, and all good so far.

They don't appear to be at the moment. However I have just inflated them to the recommended pressure, and I need to drive on various road surfaces to see how they perform. I like the idea of being prepared for winter conditions, as we are all year round motorhomers. These tyres also meet the legal requirements for France, when we head off to Spain in January.

Many commercial tyres have the same construction as the “camper” tyres. The 120/121 Falken tyres have 10 ply like the Michelin.

Will shortly be getting 16" Supermetal Hammer matt black and Fallen Wildpeak tyres. Am on 15" at the mo on a MWB Ducato.
The alloys look good and should be easy to clean and maintain.
Axle loading are 1650 front, 1500 rear.
That was in full holiday trim, almost full tank deisel, fresh water tank 3/4 full, grey 3/4 full and toilet cassette full of water.
Maybe cassette might weigh different with solids in it
