Me neither

I was only coming for the music & to meet the band.

Well, maybe not only, but still sorry you can't make it.

Aww that's a lovely thing to say

We don't get chance to play much at this meet because there's not usually a marquee as it's a bit chilly.

There will be other Funster Band members there though, I'm sure.

Hello J + J

It might be too far away for you, but it is a pub and better it is free if you eat in

On the A696 couple of miles north of Ponteland (take the airport road off the A1) Waggoners Arms, tel 01661 881872 very friendly, great beer and equally good food

Hard standing although it gets a little wet underfoot if very wet, quite close to road but hedge in between and not a very busy road, or the beer works well, not affected our sleep, we have stopped there about 6 times now

No facilities at all, toilet inside when open, no water, no dump, but FREE :thumb:

Hi David
Thanks for the reply about pub stopover near Cragside.
Googled Waggoners and it came up with Waggon inn north of Ponteland,it just has to be the same place, great reviews and being on the B696 only 22miles away from Cragside.
Looks like this is going to be the one.
Thanks again
Jim N Julie

Booked and paid

Maria
