Skimming back over this thread, there seem to be several unanswered questions - a couple asked by me, the rest by others.

Is the ghost walk happening again?

Is the Jazz festival also happening?

Do we know what counts as a campervan, as opposed to a motorhome (to get £5 off - per person)?

Assuming it's not pouring with rain, is it reasonably ok for someone in an electric wheelchair?

Will those with EHU be in the same place as the rest of the group?
(I think I know the answer to this one - there will be two distinct areas, but they will be adjacent to each other. Anyone confirm that? Will that change if we are a big enough group for them to supply us with our own generator.)

Do we have to leave on Monday or Tuesday? Camperfest website says Monday, Jim says Tuesday.

Camperfest website also says earliest arrival is 5pm Thursday. Anyone heard anything different?

Sorry if I've missed the answers to any of the above.

As yet, no one has arranged to go on the Ghost walk, maybe someone will, its early days yet.

Officially we have to leave on the Monday. Though every year so far plenty of us have stayed to Tuesday no problem.

Everything that is happening at the camperfest can be seen here. Some funsters join in with all those VeeDubbers, most don't.

The £5 discount is for the hundreds of VW campers that attend, if you are in a VW size camper (panel Van) then tell them and you should get the discount.

Those with electric will still be camped with us:Smile:

Wheelchair users we'll park you to be as close to the road as possible, but wherever we are there will be plenty of grass to negotiate, but the grass is short and should be OK:thumb:

Sorry to be a pain... know I am already down for this, but when I look at Jim's post it says forty pounds, but if I go to the Camperfest page it says £35.... can someone remind me what the price was for the weekend as I paid on someone else's bank account. Thank you....

I think you will find it was £35, (plus about £1 booking charge if paid by card) That is what I paid for mine if it helps

According to Camperfest's Heather, the dividing line is that a van conversion under 6m can have the campervan rate.

So the fact that I'm 6ft 3in & don't fit in a PVC transverse bed has just cost me another tenner. (we had to have the longer 6.34m van & a longitudinal bed & I'm too honest (or scared) to lie). I suppose that's nothing to what it's going to cost me in bridge fees when we go to Sweden.

The booking fee seems a bit hit & miss - everything from nothing to £2.92

Thanks Jim. That will be helpful if it does turn out to be wet.

All booked & paid for. Current plan is to arrive Thursday evening, but anything could happen between now & then.

It's a just a relaxing Easter, a couple of hundred yards from Chester town centre. A really good food festival as a distraction for a couple of days. We have a few get togethers, but most people just enjoy the funster company and doing their own thing, on the field and in the town:thumb:

Thanks Jim I meant info on the three nights betwixt this and Peterborough?

If you look back through the posts Andy, some have had the same dilema, and made bookings. An opportunity for a Mini Funster Meet maybe?

As we are only about 12 miles from the P/boro Showground, we'll just stop off at home on the way.

Cheers for now,

Jock.
