When we booked Steve we had the option of booking electric but it was extra. :thumb:

Yes I saw the tick box, but as I have not been before I did not go for it as we may be in a group area and ehu is else where. So if ken says no ehu I will take he lead on this, anyway no a problem because its going to be, WARM & DRY (positive thinking):Smile:
 
Chester food festival Electric

Hi,
Spoke to the organisors today, and we should be parked back to back with non electric,
but he said as we are such a large group, we are very close to having our own genny supply :BigGrin::BigGrin::BigGrin:

Thought it mat be handy esp if onto Peterborough!

Hi Jim, I have just received a text message from Lucille (Staging Lady).
After making her comeback on MHFun her phone line has gone down and she will have no land line or internet service for 5days.
She has however booked for Chester and asks if you can add her to the listing.

Hi Mr Ed,

It's usually listed on the first page of the thread, however, here is the link to the Chester Food & Drink Camperfest, and using either of the first two phone numbers, make the booking, and pay by card. Doing the online booking has caused others some issues, which I couldn't be doing with. :Angry:

Don't forget to tell them that you will be camping with MotorohomeFun, to qualify for your discount. :thumb:

When all done, come back on here and confirm your booking. :Wink:

Hello All, Just to let people know that I have had an e.mail from Heather re. my post some time back about being charged a fee when paying by paypal they have now fixed this problem with their website :Smile:and will be making refunds to those who have advised the organisers of the error. If this happened to you make it known, as they will need your bank details for a refund.:thumb:

Please refer to the post, two above yours, and tell them that you want to camp with MHFun. They already know the code, even if you can't quote it. I can't remember it, but if you want to look, it's in amongst all the posts somewhere. :Wink:

If you look on page 12 of this thread, you will find Jim has posted a link. It's available to forum subscribers only, which is why we can't post the actual code here.

Note that the discount is only available until the end of this month.

Actually, now I come to look, there is now a link from the very first post in this thread!

If you mean - you're not on the list in the post above yours, don't worry - that was a copy of the list from 4th Dec, which was only copied to this page to show the link to the discount.

Skimming back over this thread, there seem to be several unanswered questions - a couple asked by me, the rest by others.

Is the ghost walk happening again?

Is the Jazz festival also happening?

Do we know what counts as a campervan, as opposed to a motorhome (to get £5 off - per person)?

Assuming it's not pouring with rain, is it reasonably ok for someone in an electric wheelchair?

Will those with EHU be in the same place as the rest of the group?
(I think I know the answer to this one - there will be two distinct areas, but they will be adjacent to each other. Anyone confirm that? Will that change if we are a big enough group for them to supply us with our own generator.)

Do we have to leave on Monday or Tuesday? Camperfest website says Monday, Jim says Tuesday.

Camperfest website also says earliest arrival is 5pm Thursday. Anyone heard anything different?

easter at chester

went last year but it was icy cold and a long way off the facilities if you can call them that.to top all that sue was very poorly and we had to come home.but would consider if the weather was going to be something like and not freezing like last year steve
