Non slip mat on the shelf then all glasses…tumblers, stemmed wine and champagne flutes have the fine netting that you get when you buy onions around them! Sorry no pics as mo-ho in storage but you get the idea?

Old ( but clean ) socks. (y)
Stand the wine glass up, wallop a sock over, straight in the cupboard upside down. Job done.

Hi I know I could use plastic but I really like my wine from a proper glass. Problem is how do I stop them rattling around when we are on the move? I have the grippér matting in the cupboard. Anyone got any clever solutions?

We use face mitts, wrap individually and put into the free sectioned cardboard box you get glass wear in. Think ours is from IKEA

We use these wine bottle mesh thingies to protect our wine glasses, mugs, other glassware etc. they work on beer bottles too 😁

Hi folks. For years we have put small glasses inside the mugs with a bit of kitchen paper between the two. Never had a rattle or breakage. We realised the other day, we had been using the same paper for a few years and it was moulded into shape. We tend to use small glasses for wine or other drinks so we don’t lose too much if it gets knocked over and makes you feel like you are drinking loads when you go for a fourth glass.

Save the beer glasses clattering bout drink out of the can no glasses problem solved

Bubble wrap.............stops 99.9% of all rattles, always!

If you've gotta a lorra glasses/mugs these do the job......

I (wife of ghoster) made similar to these with stiff foam packaging that we had lying around - just cut to fit cupboard and cut the correct size holes - works with mugs too. Also put kitchen roll in between so no rattles .

We use a layer of foam with holes cut to fit. And also the plastic net sleeves that they sometimes put round bottles for you on cross-channel duty-free.

Bought a set of these last week, yet to fit them but the demo set-up at the dealers worked well.

Unfortunately, we've collected far too many bottles at the airport over the years and have a great collection of these....

Yup, we have those for mugs and use an upside down, under counter wine glass holder. I made each glass a little 'skirt' (a circle of fabric which slips over the base and so drops over the glass to stop it rattling against the next one. Cheap and easy! This is an example of what we use but there are cheaper ones!

Hi, I've only just seen your post so sorry for my late reply. We too prefer glasses made of glass and mugs made from ceramic and to stop the rattling they are each covered with an old (clean!) sock popped over the top and pulled down the sides. They're protected from scratches and don't rattle in their cupboard - they do need to be packed fairly closely. You can colour code the socks if you want to as well. :)

Plastic pint glasses. Slide wine glasses inside. Pint glasses for any visitors that arrive.

Not cheap? Thats an understatement! €50 for two glasses? :Eeek:
Have you looked in the shops lately for a decent crystal glass. Not only that but they can't be knocked over.

Yes, but I don’t have Lead crystal in my Moho. And they can’t be knocked over “while on their mat”…

I’ve no problem with anyone having them, and I’m sure they are a great idea. But my choice is something cheaper!

Each to their own.
