After over 6 weeks , of the Mobile Engineer, changing the porceilan bowl, the rims, the seals etc, he is scratching his head, as to WHY now the leak has decided to come out of the lever, and and the Rim, which was the original maintenance job.

He spent another 3 hours with me last week, and still doesn't know, so he has asked me to leave the lever out, when doing your business, and putting it back on driving it!
He said, he will talk to Dometic again, who as you know no longer makes these expensive loos, to see what could be the problem and where is the water coming from, it is clean flush water, so it is coming from the new rim seal, not urine water I might add pheww
Thank you , you very learn ed guys out there !

I think you may have missed some earlier posts? It is not pee water, it is fresh water when the flush is pushed and it is coming from the handle that operates the slider not necessarily the slider itself. Any water leaking around the cassette seal would not move up the handle and out it would fall into the botton underneath the cassette. I have to admit is was a bit confusing at first.

I suspect it was a leak at the top of the liner allowing water to run down the outside of the liner between the outer case and the liner that caused it?

Just my guesses. I haven't seen this particular cassette toilet.
that would be a good observation however assuming the dometic ceramic toilet is the same there is no lever just the silver slider which is part of the cassette as in photo
Unlike the Thetford tiolet that you are refering to the would slide the the flap over in the Thetford cassette
Photo to follow
With the cassette in wether its wee or fresh water would be the same
When the cassette is out there is just a hole through to the housing where the cassette is

Here is why I don't think it is anything to do with the cassette.

Hi Gromet
I mentioned in a previous post my money was on the cassette but since then had more info and yes its confusing
my last reference to the cassette was hopefully to clarify why water was coming through via the silver slider
so for this toilet in order off seals
The bottom egde of ceramic bowl seals against an O ring which sits in a recess part of the toilet casing(you can see the black ring in the photo taken under the toilet)
the casing of the toilet sits against the top facing of the cassette seal
So was the leak caused by the ceramic bowl not fitted corect or even he forgot to put this seal in and was relying on the sealant he used
When you pull out the silver slider it pulls open the cassette slider as in the video

I agree with you its unlikely to be an actual fault with the cassette

You mentioned you were not familiar with this cassette and to help i will take a quick video of pulling the slider in the tiolet itself which may show anyone how any water or pee can come through I think the early refrence to just water was simply as no one had pees into the toilet
But with this set up the slider is below the top edge of the cassette seal that presses agange the casing of the toilet
