After over 6 weeks , of the Mobile Engineer, changing the porceilan bowl, the rims, the seals etc, he is scratching his head, as to WHY now the leak has decided to come out of the lever, and and the Rim, which was the original maintenance job.

He spent another 3 hours with me last week, and still doesn't know, so he has asked me to leave the lever out, when doing your business, and putting it back on driving it!
He said, he will talk to Dometic again, who as you know no longer makes these expensive loos, to see what could be the problem and where is the water coming from, it is clean flush water, so it is coming from the new rim seal, not urine water I might add pheww
Thank you , you very learn ed guys out there !

This “rare van, a Bentley” you bought may not have been the wisest choice I fear….🤔

To try to help you understand your problem, the way your system works is that when you operate your flush water, a solenoid valve in the pressurised cold water supply opens and directs fresh tank water into and around the bowl flush, it does not utilise the "lever" at all, that only operates the tank seal slider, if you are having water in or around the slider operating lever there can only be a leak in the supply line or the connection between that and the bowl rinse connector.
My guess would be he has caused the problem you now have.

As above that "Lever" is to Dispense what is in the Bowl nothing to do with Fresh water entering it.

I fail to see why he changed the toilet bowl at all unless it was damaged or cracked. It must be either a fundamental design flaw or a problem with one of the fittings which he just transfered across.

I wonder if the issues are reflective of the reasons they no longer make them?

Have you considered asking a plumber to look at the issue? It's essentially a leaking water issue, not a motorhome issue .....

I suspect the labour charges of a plumber may be higher though ....

Or, if the water isnt leaking into the motorhome itself and only into the toilet, can you live with it?

Do you know the model number of said toilet ? There are lots of youtube vids reporting faulty Dometic 300 Series toilets.

thank you for above, but i do think leaving the lever open, is open to smells and not terribly hygenic maybe ?

Sound like the usual " mechanic"
Starts with changing this. Then changes that. Still not working so changes something else etc etc.

the trouble is i am in the hands of a professional engineer, it is not my place to ask WHY? when all I want is for the toilet to be fixed, and stop flipping dripping form the lever

As I suggested in my previous post (did you read it?), in my opinion your latest problem has been caused by your "Engineer" or more correctly by the work he has carried out (incorrectly).

Is there an anti siphon valve in the water feed ,they are tucked up around the area where the flush is at the top. You have to take the cassette out to access it and follow the feed pipe to the top. They often leek when new. I know because I had the problem last month.

Thank you so much for the above, instructions, and have now sent this onto the engineer, to see if he came back to me? as he left last week, to say he was going to look into the problem on youtube, but not heard anything since? So thank you for the above, also, when I take the cassette out, there is a small pool of blue water, which wasn't there before?mmmm

Are you using the toilet with the lever in or out? Are you flushing the toilet with lever in or out? Does the water leak out when lever out?

Marquis ........... you better watch this.

thank you, ive already had a problem with them, when my battery wasn't working (thought !), but to be tole 1 hour later and £120 for this advise ! that it needed to be switched on first ! someone before me buying it had turned the leisure battery off, and it was under the passenger seat, and unable to see, my Marquess showed me, then charged the whooping 120 for this knowledge haha
