I don't like surprise visits lol.
We have never had a FUN sticker on our van, I prefer to stay under the radar, so to speak..I removes my fun sticker in 2019 , I was parked in villanuevo and I was ....entertaining so to speak one afternoon , and someone knocked on the door of my frankia, all I could hear was " tam ,tam hello we are ( names excluded to protect identity ) from motorhome fun , just thought we'd say hello. Obviously they'd heard noises and music from inside the van but I was NOT getting dressed to go answer the door . But they were persistent, I heard the male repeatedly assure the female thst I definitely was in there as he could hear music lol. I think they knocked 3 or 4 times whilst circling the van.
After that I have no fun sticker ... and yes I've still had folk find me because they follow this thread etc and I've pics of my van posted.
I'm all for meeting folk and I enjoy putting faces to names etc , I'm friendly and approachable really .
But I prefer a bit warning rather than surprise visits as sometimes I just might have pulled lol. I am still a youngster after all....or I might simply just be in the shower or asleep or whatever. ...and these days the dogs go absolutely mental If anyone approaches my van , even people they know.
So I've no sticker but I am in Spain on route to Morocco and it would be nice to say hello if our paths should cross .

Great photosHad a nice walk in to porto saplaya, beautiful warm sunny day today, had a look around and stopped for a pint , bit of a challenge with 4 dogs on leads with tables and chairs to get tangled in and lots if dogs and birds etc going past but we coped and it was 60% successful lol. I do have to get the dogs more used to this as I used to stop for coffee or a beer even the odd meal when I just had jade and milo but not so much since I got ela .. and of course blu is the worst at present. But no spills or chaos .. just a few loud barking sessions with the odd dog they didn't like the look of. Lovely cold pint though went down well.
And then back to the camper. It was a good 4/5 mile walk there and back .
Jackie went in to town and she's still not returned. She text about an hour ago saying she was on the bus ...thinks its the right one going the right way lol. But seems a while

I will never understand this mindset, right next to the water too so half the trash is going in the sea Never try and apply any logic to anything you cannot understand Tam...just accept that it's different..Had a walk along to marina today ....there's a marathon on today there must have been a few hundred thousand runners or they were going in circles which Jackie assures me they weren't, but we sat at one point for over an hour and I've never seen so many people .
Couldn't believe the amount of trash lying around this morning too ...nearly every bench littered with bottles etc ...and the bins at every bench were nearly empty
Don't the street cleaners come out every day in most large Spanish towns? I seem to remember they used to unless that's changed.
