I'm in sant marti d empuries
Had a gut feeling that's where you are. There is a very pleasant walk along the seafront from St Marti along towards Lescala about 3k. There is also remain s of the Grecian harbour wall down on the beach near the other ruins.
We rented a villa there last year next to the ruins even had room for the van. Had the sort of air I prefer😁
Spot the campervan in photo.

That’s a pain mate. Not having much luck recommending spots to you, eh?

Paul
There seems to be a bit at the far end where coaches park but there's a barrier across that and 2 guards.. when you come back along the road there's 2 further entrances to car parks but 2 metre barriers .. I've not walked along yet from this carpark so there's maybe another access I couldn't see but if there is I'll find it on doggy walk.

Can you show where please.
I'm in the carpark with black circle round it , the 2 red dots are where height barriers are and the red location tag is roughly where Paul's gold star was. There was 2 other roads on right before the location but both looked quite narrow and I didn't want to drive down in case I got stuck .

Tam.
There is not anywhere to park at the bottom of the 2nd very steep rd on the right. Interestingly the area is a UNESCO world heritage site.
No doubt you have noticed the 2 supermarkets near ther car park. In the summer there where several motorhomes parked up outside the Mercadona all day long don't know if they were overnighting.

We went in via the top red dot, there were automatic barriers for the car park to the north but none to the southern one when we stopped there.

Just looked on Google Street view, Mar 2024 and the height barrier is there. That's a pain I'd like to visit there again.
Where you are parked it's not too bad but not so easy access to the beach.

Yeah Just smiffy has just turned up here and was looking on Google Street View. There's 2 metre barriers now blocking all the access roads. But this carpark is OK. There's a fair few motorhomes in it.

We parked in the very south eastern corner of the car park but I don’t think we had the 2m height barriers.

Anyway you’ve given me an excuse to post a pic of Beech when we were there. Very envious as it’s a minging day in Sussex.

Aye the mercadonna now has signs banning motorhomes between 9am and 9pm which is a pain in the arse if you want to go shopping. The lidl has 4 dedicated motorhome bays. And this carpark I'm in has a motorhome ban between April and October. So in season I imagine it's quite difficult to visit this place.

This spot seems to be fine for motorhomes at this time of year. In season they're banned I think. There's about 10 vans here just now though and lots of space . Not many cars coming and going either. It'll do for tonight

I didn’t think it was a hotel car park, more for the beach & ruins.
It's next to the hotel but not sure if it's their parking.after my walk this afternoon I realised I was here in Jan 2018 with the frankia. That lidl etc never existed then and you could drive along and park in the wooded area without any problems
