Not ones you want to walk on - quite narrow and get splashed by speeding vehicles hitting the water in the gutter. It’s a fast sprint to the community green spaces and NT fields.

You can park a motorhome at the donkey sanctuary in Sidmouth. Can't stay overnight though, I asked and they quoted insurance reasons, even though we brought a tray of carrots and a bulk pack of polos which apparently they .

You can take dogs around though and stay in the car park of the nearby Blue Ball Pub.

We're an off-grid eco site with camping and shepherd's huts in beautiful Bodiam, East Sussex and we're looking for one or two site wardens from late April to September to join our lovely team.

The role includes doing check-in, helping with changeovers in the huts, and cleaning the loo & shower block. There's also cafe work if you'd like more hours.

The job was previously done by one person but would suit a couple or job share, which would reduce the hours per person but is a nice lifestyle choice. If you're a couple, complete days off together in the school holidays may not be possible. We're closed over winter so ideal if you're someone who likes to travel during the colder months.

It's a varied role and we're looking for someone cheerful, practical and with a can-do attitude. A UK driving licence is essential. A mobile home can be provided or you're welcome to bring your own mobile accommodation. Pay to be discussed.

great to miss the worst of the British winter. Southern Spain you get 2.5 hours later light and mostly warmer with more sun

Absolutely which relates to 17.5 hours give or take which in turn equates to a whole waking day of daylight more than the U.K. which in turn lifts your well being.

Looks like the design was from a Woman's Realm knitting supplement.

Don't insult Women's realm knitting patterns, much better thought out than that and no danger of leaking.

Northernraider saw an advert for wardens/staff for Shell Island it was on FB linked to their website. Meant to mention it but events my end got in the way.
