Doc on tour, France, Spain, Morroco.

So no goats in tree , no donkey and only ela and blu in the painting but I think it's enough..

I felt I'd added enough extra bits from when I showed him the initial photo and got a price.

He was very good about it though and as a result he has 3 jobs lined up here tomorrow now from folk that stood watching him do mine.

Wow! Excellent value I would say.
Yes I think so .

I'm really pleased you lot didn't talk me out of it ..

I can't stop looking at it .

I love it

So guys my brain has been thinking again..

This will gather much differing opinions I expect but here goes

So the van now looks good , I have to admit the bonnet is not perfect. There's a few patchy bits you can see when the sun hits it. He polished it up yesterday and managed to burn through a bit and had to blow it in which left a visible patch which I had him attempt to polish again , and while it's better I can still see it. Because I know its there.

Now I plan to keep the camper for a while, the bonnet isn't perfect and I'd possibly need to repaint it in the future

So

When here 2 years ago the geordie couple I travelled with had this painted on their bonnet which I really liked

And that led me to thinking that if I was ever going to have some art on a van this would be the time to do it as

A) it would draw the eye away from the blemishes on the bonnet
And
B) if I was going to repaint the bonnet in the future anyway then it would matter either way.

So I'd like thoughts either way as I am undecided but I really liked that painting.
Seems like unnecessary expenditure to me. Not the behaviour of a careful Scotsman.

Seriously I’m quite careful and wouldn’t dream of spending money on something I know I will be replacing and don’t need to have.

Lastly I think your changes have made the van look classy, any pictures will undermine that. Obviously imo.

All this good news brings a smile to my face.:LOL::LOL::LOL: Tam,you’re now some sort of”celebrity “ surely. I guess you’ve got thousands of followers on social media! ;) There’s money in that…..if only I knew how to work it……but perhaps you do,or one of the funsters could do it.
Good luck with your onward journey

Oops I was a bit behind the curve there. It looks okay though to be fair.

It’s not something i’d have Tam but I think it looks fantastic, infact the whole motorhome does

It’s credit to you and you should be proud to own it

When i see photos of it and compare it to the pile of green junk me and Ade went view for you, well you can’t compare them tbh.

Doc looks ace 👍
