I absolutely love it .

I had a little brain fart….. I just looked at the first photo…. And I thought Oh Please!…. 3 hours??!!
And it’s sh1t……. I showed the wife…..she called me an absolute Clown and a Muppet.
45 years married yesterday…… and we still have Banter

Tam I'm wondering if Steve Barchetta47 who is in Asilah at the minute would take this gas hose further south for you as he's a lot more likely to be south of Essaouira than me in the next couple of weeks as he's going all the way down to Dakhla (he's hard-core!) Lol

It's the master cylinder I need fairly soon too as I've not driven this since the brakes failed getting here . I thought you'd be coming south fairly quick for the weather.


I've about 12/13 days I reckon before I run out of gas . But no idea how long before I run out of brakes

Well it's only a small box he'll maybe take it too
As regards the weather I actually hate the sun & the heat, I only ever go abroad for Mrs Captain who loves the sunshine, if it was left to me I'd never leave Ireland, or else tour Scandinavia lol
So staying North in Morocco is kind of like a happy medium although you'll always find me in the shade under the awning everywhere

I didn't like the north at all , I find after assilah it's a shithole till Rabat.

It's a bit of a dilemma chief as I don't want to risk driving too far back without getting these brakes right but if I run out of gas I'm buggered for the fridge.


And a French guy here has had his iveco chassis all redone in the original red paint which looks good so I'm even thinking I might get a price for it after all .

Well if I can get Steve to take the hose & cylinder he'll definitely be passing southwards in the next short while and could meet you somewhere that he will be and you could meet him as I say the box and hose is no size
If you fire him off a private message I'm sure he'd take it further south for you
NB: Tell Steve I'm in the guardian parking at the medina but can meet him anywhere to give him these so he doesn't have to go out of his way

What way were you planning on going and I'll see if we can tie in somewhere then
Have you done the Mediterranean coast of Morocco from Algeria back to Tangiers? I've done it a couple of times its alright some nice towns & scenery but generally very quiet and very easy to wildcamp you might enjoy that area if you haven't been

This was the problem we had 2 years ago, had a part for a fellow funsters heater bought from UK and never caught up with them, ended up agreeing to leave it at Le Relais and they were going to come back that way.

At least if Tams brakes get really bad then he has a fallback plan.
