Do you sympathize with residents?

TLDR basically you're boring me and I'm not interested. 🤷‍♂️

Here's the thing .
Personally the police have never been any benefit to me only a waste of time and money. No interest in the road argument either as they're a disgrace, I'd rather have a smooth road than all the motorways, fancy bridges , stupid roundabout ornaments, cycle paths and all the other shit.

Once again IF you want to believe the bullshit and don't know how to open your eyes and follow the money .. you do you.

I'm not interested, I'll continue to do me.
Pity I can't find a way to block people.

60's 70's 80's

I had 18 sets of uncles and aunts , each of which had 3-5 children. I'm the youngest of that lot.

So I grew up hearing many job changes etc etc , everyone of those aunt uncle couples had numerous council houses. Most of my older cousins also had council houses.

Few of my aunts ever worked , their husbands supported the entire family. Most were miners, dockyard workers etc

My dad had over a dozen jobs between 16 and 30 year old .

I heard many stories of him leaving a job on a morning and having another by the next morning. It was only really mid 80's before any of them ever bought houses.

Usually after the tories having lost their jobs etc 🤣

But I know that those aged 65+ generally have amnesia when the younger generation points out that life is generally a lot more shitty nowadays than it was.

And I'm well aware that somethings have improved.

But these days many need a degree in something or other to get a job collecting supermarket trolleys. They have zero chance of getting a council house and believe me that nonsense about girlfriend being pregnant etc is false ... I was told 4.5 years waiting for a house when my ex wife and I fell pregnant, so I was forced in to buying and by the same cut forced to work for a shitty company longer than I would have liked.

Anyone who seriously thinks things have improved is deluded.

You can't even apply for jobs nowadays without owning a computer , a printer and a mobile phone or landline. And claiming any benefits is an absolute joke unless you're a longterm benefit expert.

As fir strikes , I'm the son of a miner. Raised in a former mining community

Billy Eliot had nothing on me lol

Tam, IF the idyllic time of when we speak was, as you say, the 60's, 70, 80's, and you paid tax for 30yrs, that would mean that you must be, at least, 45 - 50 years old SO,

if it was perfect up until the 80's, it must have been your and later, generation that if you voted, or not, allowed the decline you describe, to happen?

Is it really fair to blame the older generation? 🤔
