defibrillator Fundraising

Fergot about this but donated now!

We just today bought 3 fully auto Defib's with Cases.

How we bought them. we kickstarted the fund with £668 which we collected at rallies with raffle, and quizzes etc. We also had a mystery donation of £500. Our JustGiving fundraiser page had 140 supporters and we raised £1985. The actual amount received back from Justgiving was £1942.78. This brought the fund total to £3110.78

We have today paid £2950.74 for three Lifepak CR Plus's. see attached receipt. These are fully automated and come with an 8 year guarantee

This left a balance of £160.04 which I have today donated to charity here, you can see the donation on the right (y) . The fund is now a zero.

I will get these three distributed to regular Rally Marshals in the North middle and South of the country so that hopefully we will be able to have one on as many rallies as possible. Meanwhile hoping even more that we never have to use them.

Thanks you all for being so generous. :clap2: :D

Good plan. Will you let other Marshalls know who has them so we can get them for rallies where the regular Marshalls don’t attend? I’m thinking about Chester April 17th

As we all live in different parts of the country there should be no problem transporting them, relay style even, between meets.

Might be worth considering a usage training course to be delivered at Rallies only takes about 2 hours , would give a break from the drinking , dancing and relaxing :LOL:

we have several qualified doctors and paramedic members. I wonder if they could help with a few demonstrations at rallies they attend?

And I’ve been dead a few times, you can practice on me......:D2

Most local fire brigade or ambulance services would supply this service for free.
